"From the moment we arrived by water taxi to the Hotel Rialto we were struck by it's elegant exterior which was matched by the warmth of the reception area. The team were extremely welcoming despite a huge number of guests both checking out as well as arriving. We were greeted at the Reception Desk by Marco who, throughout our 4.5 day stay was amazing! Checked us in seamlessly, wasSuper helpful, lots of great suggestions and always with a smile. Our room was fabulous and beyond what we had expected. Given we were planning to have very full days throughout our stay, having a room that was facing away from the Grand Canal added to the peaceful rest at night. The amenities were great and having the extras in the fridge each day was a lovely surprise. All of the staff at the Hotel Rialto were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast each morning was a good variety and great quality...again with excellent coffee! We will be returning again next year and 100% recommend this fabulous hotel."

"Very clean hotel, excellent located, breakfast was more than adequate. Just be aware the lift only goes to the first floor so you will be climbing stairs should you be staying above the first floor. Would happily stay here again."

"We had the Junior Suite overlooking the bridge and canal with a balcony. However even with shutters closed this hotel is right next to the ferry stop which runs pretty much all day/all night. Restaurant and bars below the hotel run very late and are very noisy. Being the bridge is popular this is packed day and late into the night. Including at 2-3am in the morning when people are drunk, singing, drinking on the bridge. Called reception at 4am after this had gone on for 2 hours and they finally sent security out the front to tell them to move on. Some ignored them, police were not called. Wouldn’t be tolerated in 90% of major tourist destinations to be creating a disturbance for hours, drinking and carrying on. These rooms and this hotel are not cheap. Room and decor itself is very dated older worn carpet /bedding etc Our bathroom was renovated and nice. Staff friendly and helpful. Has an elevator Tea/coffee making in room Fridge Safe/ desk/wardrobe Small TV Air con Breakfast basic Bacon/scrambled eggs Yogurt Fruit Pasties /pancakes Tea/coffee/juice Friends rooms which were double were much smaller renovated bathrooms with shower curtain and again very noisy. Canal view no balconies. If you were to stay here for the location I would suggest a room at the back of the hotel or stay somewhere quieter away from the canal, more updated for less and just visit the bridge. We were kept awake for hours all 3 nights with deliveries, boats, bins being emptied, sirens from emergency services. Terrace on the roof with tables to sit and overlook with own drinks no bar in the actual hotel."
