"The hotel is tucked away along the canals. The staff where friendly and helpful. We had two rooms on the 3rd floor, both had shutters that could be opened, but no views. The shower and bathroom were spacious for Italy. They maintain a list of restaurants that are nearby and they walk you to them. They have an exclusive taxi service and a free ride over to Murano Island. There was good variety for Breakfast with a friendly team and lots of options."

"Lovely hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful, we had one of the Superior Panoramic rooms which overlooked the canal. Room was really clean and cool. We had the breakfast which we thought was really good and there was plenty of choice. Would definitely recommend this hotel as it was really well situated, not far from St Marks Square or where the River Taxi dropped us, only negative was there is no sign on the hotel so couldn't locate it to start with"

"Lovely palace , a/c worked very well, linens & towels were great! Cleaning & restaurant staff spectacular & breakfast buffet was perfection! The front office staff were impatient ( & not busy) Except for two lovely gentlemen who helped us with our luggage. If you have mobility issues advise the hotel as there are many rooms that require a great deal stairs to access. A visit to the il Barlettio winery is a must - it is only a 5 min walk !"
