"Great location in Venice everything was close by. The hotel looks like what you imagine a venetian hotel should look like. Rooms were comfortable but for some reason they don't seem to like to leave 2 glasses in the room. You can arrive by water taxi or take a gondola from their water door. Good breakfasts. Close by the opera house which is worth visiting."

"1st time in Venice. Short walk from public water bus stop ( San Marco Giardinetti) but with luggage be prepared to pull your cases over cobbles & up & over steps on a couple of bridges . Hotel reception staff & breakfast staff super helpful and friendly . We booked a jr suite canal view rm but they upgraded us to one with a balcony. It was great standing out there & watching the gondolas go by . The bed was comfortable & we had enough space in the room, but it was a bit shabby looking. . Paintwork & furniture chipped /marked. Stained lamp shade .The bathroom has a shower attachment on the bath tap but not fixed to the wall, no shower screen. You’ll have to step into the bath to hand hold the shower so if mobility is an issue be aware . Breakfast was good , scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, bacon. Plus meats & cheese, yoghurt, granola , breads . Perfect location, a few minutes to St Marks square , 10-15 mins to Rialto bridge. The public water buses get really crowded. If you’re tall you won’t be able to stand upright in them ( the alilguana ones) . The ride back to the airport wa s a bit hair raising , felt like a busy motorway but with speedboats ( private taxis) overtaking & causing loads of wake . Overall a good hotel ."

"We were looking for a hotel within walking distance of the Grand Canal so we could easily get to the airport, and this property was perfect. The staff was excellent, friendly, and always willing to help. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had an amazing view. As with many European hotels, the air conditioning was not extremely cold, but it kept the room comfortable, especially considering we visited during a very hot time of year. The bathroom was well-equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again on a future trip to Venice. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
