"This is a fabulous little hotel in a perfect location down one of the tiny little streets in Venice, not far from St Marks Square in one direction and the Rialto Bridge in another and right next to a canal. I loved it. We'd booked a room with a canal view and got one with a balcony (very tiny). The room was quite small but absolutely gorgeous. The bed was super comfy and the shower was great. My favourite time was lying in bed in the morning with the balcony doors open and listening to the sounds from the canal below. The staff behind the desk were also super kind and helpful and generally lovely. I can completely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again if I got the chance."

"The staff were very lovely and kind but there were issues that made the stay a bit uncomfortable. One issue was relating to the insects and cleanliness. I do understand it is hard to avoid some insects when you are by water. I was originally told they’re typically only in the shower but I did find a few in the room and on the bed. Two different types of bugs. The bathroom also seemed to have some mold that needed to be treated. The wood panels were clearly not dusted in a long time and some of the dust would occasionally fall onto the bed/floor. My guest and I both have allergies and this made it worse. I mentioned this and they said they would tell the cleaning staff and I had asked if this is possible to do so with items in the room as the dust would fall down regardless of how careful they’re being. Come to find out later that they didn’t clean it for the very reason that I said. The solution was to move rooms but it was later in the evening and my guest and I had plans that night as well as early the next day so there would be no time to do this; and it wasn’t as simple as just move the suitcases to another room since all of our stuff was out and would need to be packed and cleaned up. There was also a discrepancy with booking a room for 2 guests and not 1 which was resolved with paying more money for a room for two people not 1. This was my first time experiencing having a fee for two people and the original room was booked for only 1 (in error) and I was told the guest wouldn’t be allowed in that room. I requested partial refund and was offered a voucher to come back to the hotel. Not a bad location but wouldn’t go back to this hotel. See photos"

"Well equipped, clean and well located. The room was not very large but more than adequate. Very good bedding. We slept very well and I did not find it particularly noisy. We enjoyed the canal view. What a treat every morning to open the shutters and see life bustling on the water. Breakfast was very good. The staff was friendly. Ideal location between the Rialto and the holy marc square! Excellent stay"
