Starhotels Ritz

"Very good location a few meters from Corso Buenos Aires and about 250 meters from the M1 Lima station. To access the lobby and to exit there are stairs. At least I did not see ramps or elevators that lead to street level. A point against for a person with reduced mobility and carrying suitcases. Elevators (3) very small. The room is fine. Spacious bathroom. In room (630) the toilet smelled like urine and the sink did not drain well. No comb. No toothbrush or toothpaste, nor hair conditioner. Good towels and linens. Comfortable bed. Illy capsule coffee maker. The first day four capsules. The second, 3 capsules and the fourth only a single capsule that had been left and no sugar. I had to complain. The card kept getting demagnetized!. The same thing every day. I stayed for 6 nights. Going up loaded and back down again. The cleaning was very good. Breakfast was fine. The woman who operated the coffee machine was very pleasant. Reception staff distant in their manner but fine. Average hotel. To me, a good 3-star or a 4-star with deficits."

"The staff were warm and friendly and happy to help. The hotel itself is just a hotel, while everything mostly worked this was not by any means a stand-out venue."

"This is an average hotel, not a four star to be honest but it has a lot of good points. The location is excellent lots of shops and restaurants a few minutes away. Very safe area and walked around with no issues on the night. It's about 10-15 euro in a taxi to the sight seeing area's and a good base. The hotel is very busy not enough staff so long queues when you need help, the staff are nice when you do get to speak to them and it is very clean. The rooms are on the small size but have everything you need. Breakfast isn't very nice the food was cold most days and didn't look forward to eating there so was glad for time away and skipping it. We ate at the restaurant once, it was nice but a bit on the pricy side for what you got."
