"An enormous corner bedroom with an enormous and very comfortable bed. It was really clean and well decorated , had a lovely double leather sofa as well as all mod cons - including separate USB ports to charge your phones! Good facilities all round. Fridge and room safe too - you can buy some milk for tea / coffee just down the road.
Two slight downsides - only slight:
1) it was a little way to everything. However, there is a Metro Station (underground) at Turro which is about 1 minute's walk away. Getting on the transport systems is one of the things I enjoy about discovering a city and once you get the hang of it, it's easy and a great system. You can buy a three day pass (or others ) direct from ATM (not a bank ATM but ATM who run the transport network) which covers all of the city's buses, trams and trains for just 15.5 Euro. Buy them at the ticket machines on the Metro station - and you can press for for English language on them too. Then just tap when you go on and get off on each journey. All your travel (except to / from Malpensa airport) sorted.
We caught an airport bus for 10 Euro . Express train is about 15Euro and taxis are horribly expensive!
From Milano Centrale (central railway station) where most people arrive, its one Metro change - two stops on the green line, change to the red and a few stops up is Turro. Very quick and simple once you've done it once.
The second slight downstairs was only on one of our two nights. The people in the room upstairs sounded like they were stamping on the ceiling and walking (stamping) around for such a long time, they were SO noisy and the noise insulation clearly wasn't perfect. The second night there was no such problem.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay very much. Breakfasts were excellent and catered for all European and British tastes with fresh fruit, pastries, juices, bacon and egg. toast, cereal etc etc."
