"Wow I don’t usually feel the need to wright a review, but this villa is so very special! When booking it I was excited as it looked amazing in the pictures, when we arrived at the villa we were greeted warmly and shown to the pool where we received a complementary cocktail while our bags were taken into our room, the views just took our breath away as it was even more stunning than we had expected, we spent a perfect afternoon on the lovely sunbeds and experienced the most amazing sunset while in the pool which was really special. Breakfast is served upstairs with yet again beautiful views. The staff were lovely and very well organised, lots of choice, usually I struggle with hot drinks while away as I can’t have caffeine and hardly anywhere we’ve ever stayed offer the decaf option, yet here I was able to have a fabulous decaf latte every morning which made me so happy! The villa is a little way from sorrento itself, but we loved that as it’s a completely different vibe so very relaxing, we hired a scooter up in the local town which is about a 10/15 min walk from the villa.. the walk is along the road edge but it’s really not a problem everywhere in sorrento people are walking along the road side. There is also a bus stop up in the town that goes into sorrento, but as we didn’t need it I don’t know how frequent they are. We had the most amazing time at the villa All the staff are so professional while still being friendly and genuinely there to help make your stay wonderful. We visited Capri, Positano and Ravello as well as going into sorrento most days, we also drove the Amalfi coast road on the scooter and it was just breath taking! There was a lovely girl we used to chat to on reception who I can’t remember her name, she used to call us the adventurers lol she was so lovely and always so happy and helpful. The villa also has a what’s app group which gives you daily info we thought this was a great idea, really useful. On the morning we were leaving our taxi transfer with easyJet was booked for 11am unfortunately the weather was terrible, heavy rain, storms and the driver was over an hour late due to the driving conditions and roads being closed it was mayhem, we were really worried we were going to miss our flight. Adele on reception couldn’t have been more helpful she stayed in contact with the driver and tried everything possible to help our situation, also Alberto was checking our flight to see if it had been delayed due to the weather, and reassuring us as much as possible that the drivers know all the different routes to take and that we’d be fine, he organised drinks to keep us calm which were much appreciated. Thankfully we made it to the airport in time and while we were sitting waiting to board our plane I received a what’s app from Adele checking in to make sure everything was ok and that we’d hadn’t missed our flight.. we have stayed in some lovely hotels all over world but this experience is up there with the very best! The villa the views and the staff make this place so very special Thank you all so much Alison & Steve"
