"I don't know where to start. I read so many reviews and tried to doubt the bad ones and trust the good ones, but in the end it was horrible. It's the place where door slamming never ends: the room doors are heavy and do not have any soft place to attenuate the closing, and the elevator doors are in the exact situation. Speaking of elevators, there are 2 and very small. Appropriate for 3 slim persons or 2 bigger persons. If 2 slim persons with 2 luggages would try to enter the elevator, they would hardly fit. Given they were small and only 2 for such a big hotel, we often had to wait a few minutes for an elevator, often just giving up and taking the stairs. The stairs might be an option if you stay at low levels, but for people on the 4th or 5th floor it's terrible. They provide daily clean towels and the policy is that you have to pay 20eur which will be returned at the end if you give back the towels. They were hesitant to provide towels in the evening for the next day and they always were low on towels, even though it was September and the hotel was not fully booked. Breakfast was ordinary given that salty food was 95% the same each day. Bacon had a really strange taste which made me stay away from all meat. Beans were for sure canned, soda from the machine was probably canned too given the taste and the pastries were dull. Because of this poor offer, I ate more sweet food which in the end made my stomach ache and in the end vomit. I had to force myself to eat what I described above. Even fresh vegetables were dull. Even though the hotel was probably not fully booked, people had to wait in a line for a breakfast table. Some had to wait even 5-10min and people already in were asked to leave if they finished their food, but not their drinks. The room was totally from a 2 star hotel given that wind came freely through the margin of the door and existence through the balcony door. The sound of the wind was extremely high, something similar to a chainsaw. Not joking! Obviously the balcony door did not close well and you could hear music from nearby hotels until 11 PM. The room and bathroom were so small that 2 bigger persons could not use them. I don't understand how someone could design such a place. We hardly had space to put our luggages down in order to open them. Also you could hear everything from nearby rooms: up, left, right aaaaand balcony. We could hear people from the nearby balcony like they were in the room with us given that the balcony wall is not continuous. The parquet was ripped and the shower rusty. We had to unplug the fridge given that it made a more annoying sound than the wind. One can hardly believe this. The TV attached to the wall is just an obstacle given that there is not a lot of space between the bed and the wall. We smashed into it a few times. We had to ask for some shower gel and toilet paper refill because the cleaning person simply did not leave any… 2 days in a row. We booked a room with a sea view, and despite the fact that we really had a sea view, we also had some really old building terraces in sight."
