"We have just returned from a wonderful one-week stay at Amoh, a Luxury Collection Resort in Rhodes, and we absolutely loved every moment of it.
From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this is a truly special resort. The design is stunning, with a level of detailing, craftsmanship, and execution that is genuinely impressive. Every space feels thoughtfully curated, combining contemporary luxury with a strong sense of place. As someone working in hospitality design, I particularly appreciated the attention to detail and the quality of the materials, finishes, and overall guest experience.
We were fortunate to be upgraded to a Selene Suite with a private pool, and it was without doubt one of the most beautiful and comfortable hotel rooms we have ever stayed in. The suite was elegant, spacious, and incredibly relaxing, while the terrace and private pool were both generous in size and beautifully designed and equipped. In fact, with such a spectacular main pool at the resort, deciding each day whether to stay by our private pool or head to the main one became a surprisingly difficult choice! 😉
Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. The selection was fantastic, with plenty of local specialties alongside international favorites. If you enjoy sweets, you are in for a treat—the patisserie offering is simply outstanding. A special thank you goes to Adam, who looked after us with genuine warmth and friendliness, and to Mary at the coffee bar, who prepared a perfect Greek coffee for us every single morning.
We also dined at both Glaze and Kymata, and there is little left to say about how beautiful these venues are. The design is exceptional, the atmosphere inviting, and the food consistently excellent. Combined with the warm and attentive service, every meal felt like a special occasion.
We would particularly like to highlight our lunch at Kymata on our final day. As soon as we arrived, Thanos, the restaurant manager, spontaneously invited us to participate in a small wine tasting. It was such an engaging and unexpected gesture, and exactly the kind of personal touch that transforms a great stay into a memorable one. He expertly recommended our dishes and selected an outstanding bottle of wine to celebrate our final hours at the resort. Our compliments also go to Maria, the service supervisor, whose attentiveness ensured that our glasses were never empty and every detail was flawlessly taken care of.
True to the spirit of The Luxury Collection, the resort also offered thoughtfully curated signature experiences that allowed guests to connect with the culture of Rhodes. We particularly enjoyed the evening Aperitivo Gathering, featuring a locally inspired gin cocktail, insights into the history of the island, and a selection of delicious local bites. Equally memorable was the olive and olive oil tasting, which was both educational and full of incredible flavours. Both experiences were hosted by Diana, Marina, and Gina from the Guest Services team, whose enthusiasm, knowledge, and genuine passion made these moments truly special.
We would also like to recognize the excellent Concierge team, particularly Dori, who helped us put together a fantastic island itinerary. She arranged a rental car that was conveniently delivered directly to the hotel and recommended several wonderful restaurants and places to visit, allowing us to discover some of the very best of Rhodes.
A special mention must also go to the housekeeping team, whose service was exceptional throughout our stay. Housekeeping was seamless, discreet, and always delivered to the highest standard. Every interaction was accompanied by a warm smile and genuine friendliness, which made us feel even more welcome and cared for throughout our stay.
Speaking of Rhodes, the island itself deserves a special mention. This was our first visit, despite having travelled extensively throughout the Greek islands, and we were genuinely impressed. Rhodes offers an incredible variety of experiences, from the lush beauty of Seven Springs and breathtaking beaches such as Anthony Quinn Bay, to the fascinating medieval Old Town of Rhodes. During our visit, the city was also hosting the Biennale of Modern Ceramics, which is absolutely worth seeing for anyone interested in art, craftsmanship, and design. There is so much to discover that a single week barely feels enough.
We were thoroughly impressed and cannot wait to return to both Rhodes and Amoh. Finally, we would like to extend our sincere thanks Charalambos, the General Manager, and the entire team for making our stay so special and memorable. We left with wonderful memories and are already looking forward to our next visit.
Highly recommended."
