Cook’s Club Kolymbia

"We enjoyed our stay at this club hotel to the fullest. Since we were here at the end of the season, there were wonderfully pleasant temperatures, which we found far better than the extreme summer heat. A rainy day doesn't matter at all. The hotel offers many individual options for vacation planning and is a good starting point for trips with a rental car across the entire island. The hotel is located in a very beautiful landscape on the edge of the resort town. Our room was pleasantly large and sparkling clean. A huge compliment goes to the entire team: From the reception to the service, all staff members were super friendly. We were particularly impressed that the hotel manager himself is regularly present and personally checks that everything is in order – that immediately gives you a welcome feeling. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. It is extremely extensive and high-quality, and the best part: Even for late risers, everything is still fully set up and fresh until 10:30 AM. For sports enthusiasts, there is a properly equipped outdoor gym that is really fun. Gladly used. In the evening, you can wonderfully wind down the day at the bar, where great music plays until about 10:30 PM and a cozy atmosphere prevails. Conclusion: We felt completely comfortable, were perfectly rested, and would love to come back!"

"Beautiful hotel. Immaculately clean. Very friendly staff who were always happy to help. We had breakfast included which was a really good standard, there were lots of options available. We also ate at the Asian street food restaurant. The food was delicious. Stunning views from the hotel also. Will definitely be returning. Also a really nice touch to the holiday was the hotel upgrading our room, and providing complimentary prosecco."

"Late check in on Friday 25th September 2026 was not a warm greeting. Given a box containing one wrap cut in half with a slither of ham, cheese and smear of mayo along with a handful of tortilla chips to share, no drinks (not even water) One bar is open until 01.00am, was told they were closed (12.15am) guests still drinking. Was sold two bottles of beer in the end. ROOM 401 BATHROOM *No tiles on wall in shower *shower heads rust, scale and dusty *hair in sink plug *toothpaste in bottom of toothbrush holder *broken tiles fitted around bathroom window *rusty bin *very old tired flaking paint on other walls *toilet seat old and stained *toilet seat chrome fittings dirty from urine *greasy thumb prints on magnifying mirror BEDROOM *front door inside has massive hand print/marks that does not wipe off *cobwebs in corners of room *no filler around the inside of front door *tired old paint, bubbling depressing colour *stains on ceiling *two single beds put together One half had long dark hairs ins And on top of the bedding and smelt of perfume *dust around the room OUTSIDE ROOM *opposite was the staff cleaning room, door left open for anyone to enter *cables visible top corner, not boxed in *Inform reception the room is not at all up to the standards of a 5 star establishment. * update from reception they don’t have another room. * no clean bedding (even just until the morning) Eventually moved to the sister hotel Casa Cook for one Night. Saturday 26th September at 13.30pm our first day we finally was given another room along with our luggage. Room 646 was an Upgrade. Toilet seat also very loose and fly screen to patio stuck. Fresh fruit, a bottle of water and Prosecco. We accepted this as it was clean and fresh. One bottle of water left daily, coffee facilities and one usb socket. Considering Cooks Club had a multi million euro renovation and redesign. Room 401 was not part of it. Woman’s toilets were basic and clean but out of 3 toilets, 2 toilet seats were very loose, reported one than once and never fixed in the 10 nights. 1 light in the communal stairs was never working, seen and reported to a member of staff and never fixed in the 10 nights stay. Health and safety especially when it was evening/night time. Electric cupboards in communal areas were very old and tried looking. Eating area for breakfast A few time we had to wait for plates and bowls. Very long wait for drinks or to get someone’s attention. Pool looked nice but didn’t use it as we love the beach. Pool towels are available (couple of times the towels were slightly damp on collection) Beach is a few minutes walk, please don’t be afraid of the goats, they don’t bother with you and are only around a short time. Local shop a minute away as well as a lovely taverna Coach is 4 euros each way per person. We went out every evening but on returning I can say the band was great. Didn’t really notice it once you shut the front door. Breakfast had a nice selection of hot and cold food (staff behind the food counters were friendly) Outside eating area - Manos was amazing Inside eating area - Stefano was amazing Cleaner - Anissa was amazing Due to first impressions, we would not recommend staying here as stated above. Regardless of eventually being given another room. All was left to Emmanuel to deal with even though we asked to see the manager (never happened) Granted Emmanuel did what he could within him limitations. We were disappointed even though actively addressing the seriousness of our concerns by an upgrade and a couple of evening meals with 1 bottle of wine and late checkout as a goodwill gesture. Again, thank you. The room should never have been let out. Our overall impression of Cooks Club Kolymbia unfortunately did have such a negative impact. * PLEASE NOTE* 10 euro per hour to extend your room on final checkout."
