"I wrote this email to the hotel after spending a week there in May 2025:
I stayed at your hotel from 30/04 to 07/05.In total our family paid for four rooms. The hotel is beautiful and most of the staff were amazing, friendly and helpful,however I must raise the following issues:
Firstly the member of staff called Stam: we arrived at the Italian restaurant for lunch and she began talking to us , friendly enough but then asked us all(6) to write a review on google , naming two members of staff to mention, our food arrived and she still sat there pestering us , totally unprofessional and annoying .
The next day she commented that we all hadn’t done the review in quite a rude fashion.
I saw her constantly going to people who were sat in restaurants pestering them to write reviews .
She also said rude remarks about her work colleagues, referring to them as fat and ugly, although this might have been a joke I found it rude and offensive .
The worst moment was on our last day when myself and my daughter were leaving the dining room at breakfast and she commented on the outfit my daughter was wearing, saying “that’s a nice outfit “, when my daughter replied “thank you” , she said “but it looks terrible on you “, to say I was shocked is an understatement .
My second complaint is regarding the Women’s Health fitness camp who arrived during our holiday, taking over areas of the hotel and using loud speakers booming out exercise instructions and music , we went to relax on the beach and could not do so having to listen to this mixed in with the music from the beach bar made it an unpleasant experience, if I had known there was a fitness camp operating at the hotel I never would have booked it.We were unable to enjoy ourselves at the beach whilst this was going on.
There were not enough staff , I waited 45 minutes for a drink and food whilst having brunch
The pool bars nearly always had long queues .
The table service on the evenings did not work , we ordered drinks that never arrived, and when I went to the bar was told it was table service only despite not having our drinks delivered to us. People became annoyed and just started waiting at the bar , there were about 20 people waiting.
This was the first week in May and was unacceptable.
The same problem with the Creperie in the afternoon
My sister queued for 3 ice creams , only to be told she could only have one as the man was too busy making crepes, However when I sent my husband straight afterwards he was served two ice creams with no problem at all, apart from having to queue
No drinks pool service apart from once in the morning
Food not labelled in the Buffet hall
Very difficult to book tables in the restaurants
My daughter had spent a pleasant week here last May and this was why we booked this holiday and paid a lot of money , including the tourist tax and I don’t feel that we have had the experience we deserved., and would like some recompense.
We have previously stayed at Mitsis Ramira, Rodos Maris and Rinela and had fantastic times but unfortunately this holiday fell short.
This is the defensive and quite rude reply I received from the hotel:
We are sorry to hear that you were not completely satisfied with your stay. Please allow us to clarify a few points:
The group fitness program (Women’s Health Camp) began on May 6th, which was near the end of your stay, and it was conducted in a limited space and timeframe so as not to disturb other guests. We apologize if it affected your experience in any way.
Regarding our staff member Stamatis, she is one of the most friendly and helpful members of our team. She always strives to assist and serve guests with courtesy. Reviews are, of course, optional and in no way required or enforced by her or by us.
As for any queues or delays, we would like to point out that during the period you mentioned, the hotel was operating at very low occupancy, and there were no staff shortages observed. If any delay did occur, we sincerely apologize and will ensure that it is reviewed internally
The hotel also offered me a 15 per cent discount to book again which I will not be doing

The women’s health camp arrived on Sunday and I was there until Wednesday afternoon so it certainly did impact my stay.
I can only repeat my comments on Stam and if you don’t think making rude jokes comments to my daughter or anyone else is not a problem, I am very disappointed.
As regards low occupancy , my sister was unable to book a room for the last part of the week? There were not enough staff to provide a decent service for guests.
I will decline your offer as I find your email response quite rude and I would not like to return to Blue Domes , I will however write an honest review on Trustpilot"
