"We initially stayed in a Pool & Sea View Suite with Balcony, and from the moment we arrived, we were impressed. The suite was spacious, beautifully designed, immaculately clean, and offered stunning sea views. Sitting on the balcony day or night, overlooking the sea, was an experience in itself and immediately set the tone for a relaxing and luxurious holiday. We stayed for 10 nights and absolutely loved every moment.
During our stay, I enquired about upgrading to one of the hotel’s two exclusive Penthouse Suites for the final two nights. We were fortunate enough to secure the upgrade for €150 — and without hesitation, it was the best €150 we have ever spent. It completely elevated our experience and gave our holiday a truly unforgettable ending.
The staff throughout the hotel are genuinely exceptional and deserve enormous praise. Every member of staff we encountered was attentive, friendly, professional, and always eager to help with a smile. It’s clear they take great pride in both the hotel and the service they provide, and their warmth made such a difference to our stay. A special mention must go to Maria, Vivi, and the entire reception team, who were absolutely wonderful throughout.
Our original suite, 3022, was located on the third floor in a central position with beautiful pool and sea views. The room was modern, spacious, extremely well maintained, and spotlessly clean. The layout was stylish and practical, with a separate toilet and walk-in shower, while the sink area was integrated into the bedroom design. Daily bottled water was provided in the fridge, and the overall finish of the suite felt premium and thoughtfully designed.
The Penthouse Suite, however, was simply on another level. We stayed in Penthouse 1311, overlooking the smaller pool and main restaurant area, with breathtaking panoramic sea views from the private terrace. The outdoor space alone was spectacular, featuring a large wooden pergola, sun loungers, stylish black steel chairs and table, and the standout feature — a large private hot tub overlooking the sea.
Inside, the suite felt incredibly luxurious and beautifully designed. The large double bed directly faced the terrace and hot tub, meaning you could wake up to uninterrupted panoramic sea views from your bed each morning. It was one of the most impressive hotel rooms we have ever stayed in. The suite also included everything you could need, including excellent air conditioning, a fridge, Nescafé coffee machine, and a spacious walk-in shower room.
One small tip for future guests — there are only around 12 hangers provided, so it may be worth packing a few extra if you like to hang more clothing items.
The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, with a stylish bohemian-inspired décor throughout that creates a luxurious yet relaxed atmosphere. Every area was impeccably clean and well maintained. The all-inclusive offering was also excellent, with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality food available across all meals. There was something for everyone, and the quality consistently exceeded expectations.
We would strongly recommend booking the à la carte restaurants early using the online link provided by the hotel before arrival, as they are very popular. The meals themselves were excellent and included within the all-inclusive package. The only slight disappointment was that drinks were not included in the à la carte restaurants, despite being served from the same bars as the all-inclusive drinks elsewhere in the hotel. This was something several guests we spoke with also mentioned. It certainly didn’t detract from what was otherwise an exceptional stay, but resolving this small issue would truly elevate the experience to a flawless 5-star level.
The location of the hotel is another major advantage. It’s only a one-minute walk to the beach, bars, and restaurants, while Kardamena’s main square and harbour are just a pleasant 5–10 minute walk away. From there, you can enjoy local shops, restaurants, boat trips, and ferry excursions.
One additional recommendation — we hired a speedboat directly opposite the hotel on the beach for around €180 for four adults for three hours, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our holiday. You drive the boat yourself, it’s very easy to use, and we felt completely safe throughout. Just note there is an additional fuel charge at the end depending on usage.
Overall, this hotel delivers an outstanding luxury experience in every aspect — from the beautiful décor and exceptional staff to the fantastic all-inclusive offering and unforgettable Penthouse Suite experience. For anyone looking for a true 5-star stay in Kardamena, we genuinely believe this is the hotel to book.
We will absolutely be returning."
