The Royal Blue

"Me, my best friend, and his parents stayed at the Royal Blue Resort & Spa on October 8 to 13. This was my 7th stay and it’s only gotten better with each stay. I feel less like a guest and more like family. Normally me and my best friend bring our crew of fellas and make it a Man’s Trip. Last year I brought my mother & sister for her 50th birthday. They loved the resort and all its amenities, and the staff treated them like queens. This trip was with my best friend and his parents, and of course they loved the resort and all its amenities, and the staff treated the parents like royalty. The name of the resort says it all. This visit was more relaxing and reflective. My private pool with a Sea Front view was the way to go for me. No matter how many times I visit this resort I am welcomed with warm helpful smiles by the Reception staff. Although I never went to breakfast, due to purposely sleeping in, Half Board is the way to go. Instead of breakfast, my first meal was always lunch at the Alati A La Carte restaurant at the big pool, and dinner at the Symposium Main restaurant. The cuisine was always delicious and cooked to order. Each day at both restaurants, the service and laughter from the staff never diminished. From the Reception staff, Housekeeping staff, Bar staff, Restaurant staff, and Mini-Market staff, 5 Star treatment from all levels at the Royal Blue Resort & Spa isn’t forced, it’s the life."

There is a real sense of pride, continuity, and personal connection that is increasingly rare in luxury hospitality. This is not just professional service - it is hospitality from the heart. One thing we feel is worth mentioning: during the last few days of our stay, Crete experienced unusually rainy weather. Unfortunately, some guests appeared to blame the hotel for the weather and responded with unfairly low ratings. We found this rather childish. A hotel cannot control the weather, and judging the dedication of an exceptional team on that basis is simply unfair. We would encourage future guests to look beyond such reviews. The Royal Blue is a special place, but its greatest asset is undoubtedly its people. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine desire to create the best possible experience made our stay memorable. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily return."
