We appreciated the fantastic gym as we were able to still continue our weight training regime. You can appreciate the quality and reputation the hotel try’s to maintain. Managers are always on duty paying attention to every detail. No shortage of food or variety. They cater to all dietary needs. Definitely would recommend this hotel to others."

"We recently stayed at this hotel in Crete, which is advertised as a five-star resort — unfortunately, it falls quite a long way short of that standard. From the moment we arrived, there were several signs of untidiness and poor housekeeping around the grounds and communal areas, which really took away from the overall impression. The facilities themselves were fairly basic and didn’t match what you’d expect from a supposed five-star property. Evening entertainment was extremely limited — quite dull, in fact — and after a couple of nights we found ourselves just sitting around playing cards, as there wasn’t much else to do. The à la carte restaurant options were also very disappointing. The choice was very limited, and when we did manage to book, the food was often cold and unappetising. The menu and drink selection felt restricted, and the overall quality of the meals was really poor — certainly not what you’d expect from a hotel in this category. Our room was fine but pretty standard — again, nothing like five-star quality. We booked for three adults, but one of the beds was more like a camp bed. I raised this with the hotel multiple times, and although they said they’d sort it, nothing was ever done. Overall, the hotel wasn’t terrible, but it’s definitely not worthy of a five-star rating. With better housekeeping, improved food standards, and more engaging entertainment, it could be a much better experience — but as it stands, it’s not somewhere I’d rush back to or recommend to others."
