Zenitude Hotel-Residences - Le Cannet

"After I checked in, I found urine stains on the mattress, plus what appeared to be feces stains, dirt and crumbs. I reported it to the front‑desk agent (blonde hair, black glasses – Katia). She said the hotel does not clean mattresses, that all rooms are the same, and that they only change the sheets. When I refused to stay on a dirty mattress, she offered a downgrade to another room but warned I couldn’t inspect the new mattress because that would require cleaning staff to be sent in. She refused to let me speak with a manager and refused to provide a refund. I attempted to reach management twice afterward and received no response. Bottom line: The room was unsanitary, staff were unhelpful, and there was no refund or follow‑up after I emailed the hotel management. I cannot recommend staying here."

"Average property but very good location. Bus stop is less than a 5 min walk and if only takes about 20 mins to get to the beach. Very cheap bus fares. Property is close by (again not even a 5 min walk) to convenience shops, bakeries, butchers, fish mongers which is nice as we made use of the cooking facilities in the apartment. The kitchen utensils however were disappointing. Our bread knife was broken / hazardous. No proper cooking utensils available so cooking was a struggle. Our room was only cleaned once. The kitchen was still left a mess when we came back to the room. Most of the staff were pleasant apart from one lady at reception. Dark haired lady. Very rude and didn’t seem bothered to want to help at all. She had attitude towards us when we questioned her about overcharging us for our stay… which she did and she didn’t even apologise. Don’t think she should be working in reception if that’s how she treats paying guests. Apart from that pool was ok. Made use of the ping pong table which was fun. Hotel clean but could do with refurbishment. It’s a little run down in places. Liked the fact there is filtered cold and sparkling water available 24/7 free of charge in reception which was much needed while there during summer."

"Receptionist (old male) very rude, no complementary water in the room, luckily the manager still tried to make things up but it won't change anything if they keep a misbehaving/misconduct employee. Totally disappointed with my experience that had only happened last week. Highly Don't recommend!!! "
