H10 Tenerife Playa

"This is by far the worst hotel experience i have ever stayed in, for £200 per night i wouldnt even rate this hotel at £50 per night They dont provide you the basics such as a kettle. Heated pool was not heated. No activties for kids due to not enough kids staying at the hotel mis sold this. Charges for sauna 3 peices of equiptment is classed as a gym. Mis sold picture of property grounds which are not their grounds but completely seperate for outdoor pools on waterfront was refused access as privately owned but advertised as property grounds. Required to pay for use of kettle Was told at dinner 1 drink per person free and was given a receipt. At the time of check out. I was being charged for 1 of them ( water ) but not the soft drinks? Was being shouted at by front of desk in front of other guests for a 2.00 drink being told half board doesnt include any drinks. Not a issue to pay but it was all principal for me 5 members of staff decided to join in and bully me regarding this issue. They refused to check with F&B re. The receipt as i was told 1 drink per person included. Only when i had started to challenge and explain i have worked in a hotel before and a 4 star hotel should never treat their guests the way they were all shouting at me. I will never ever recomend this place to anyone. Its probably better just to go to a another chain that respects their guests Please note this is not my 1st ever travel. I have been travelling for over 20years and I am a travel agent currently and have worked in hotels prior therefore i know the industry standards 4 5 star hotels not a scam hotel like h10. My 1st and last exerperience with H10. I will never recomrd to anyone. Hope this helps people to decide and not book H10."

"Relaxing 3 week stay,rooms with balconies well appointed with good facilities. Food good with several theme nights and show cooking. Staff friendly,helpful and courteous even during busy times.m Location excellent with great access to the promenade and 10 minutes wallk from town centre and harbour.Looking forward to returning soon."

"A weeks all inclusive stay as a couple. 5th time in Tenerife and 1st stay at H10. We had high expectations which were quickly diminished. To summarise the worst parts of our stay: 1. The mammoth queues for dinner and breakfast. Guests queuing up to the third floor, even guests who were vulnerable through frailty or disability. 2. The lack of choice for a table as in NO CHOICE ALLOWED. 3. The shockingly bad food which was not labelled. Occasionally it was but this was often in Spanish or would say meat and potatoes. 4. The temperature of food was below safety standards that one would expect. 5. Repair to leaking shower door was not undertaken. The whole floor was soaking wet and dangerous. 6. Privilege guests were treated very differently and this created an atmosphere of unfairness and unease. 7. Reception staff unable to resolve issues. TUI Rep unable to provide adequate service to assist with concerns raised."
