"Recommended to try here by friends. Although the venue and views are stunning, the restaurant staff were quite unfriendly Had to ask four times for a wine top up, it wasn’t that busy. Don’t get a friendly vibe at all which was a shame. Food was good so that was something."

"It’s rare these days that hotels rated as 5 star actually provide a five star service but this hotel did not let us down! One of the best hotels we have stayed in. We were welcomed to a beautiful room with decorations for our anniversary. The room was big and beautiful with a small pool which connected to a larger ‘river’ pool. This river pool was really unique and something that sets the hotel aside from others. The communal pools were also lovely and the rooftop pool had a great view. The staff were friendly, attentive and professional. The cleaning staff did a great job. The food at all the different restaurants was delicious and cooked to a high standard and also presented really well. Loved that some dishes were table side. Breakfast was also a high standard. Smoked salmon every day was a great touch. There were also some days where someone did live cooking at breakfast. We also went to Jardin in their sister restaurant and the food and presentation was outstanding. We ordered a pool brunch - and this was definitely the place to order this with such beautiful surroundings. The food from the pool brunch was also delicious and the tray was presented beautifully. The tray was also very practical regarding its floating ability. There was occasionally like music at breakfast and dinner. The harpist at breakfast was true luxury! We also used the gym which was to a high standard. The spa looked beautiful but we never used it as the weather was so nice outside. We took a boat trip to see whales which was once in a lifetime. The only slightly disappointing thing was that we paid a few 100 euros for this and were told by some other guests that they were offered it for free and that it wasn’t some perk they were offered beforehand or part of their package. However I don’t know the full details of this and there may be more to the story. Thanks for a truly wonderful stay - highly recommended!"

"Our favourite hotel ever! This is our 2nd visit for my partners Birthday, you cannot fault the place, the staff are amazing, the decor is breathtaking, so clever and the fact that this place is privately owned by a family is the reason there is so much attention to detail, they've thought of absolutely everything you could wish for. The rooms are insane, we had a pool villa, the dressing gowns are the plushest Ive ever worn, the bed linen smells amazing, the pools in the hotel, spa and roof are just beautiful, the spa treatments are outstanding, the breakfast has everything you could ask for, fresh pancakes made with all toppings fresh, a harpist played one morning and a violinist on another, the best omelettes ever, we absolutely love little Nancy the waitress. The Pina coladas are outstanding. If you are looking for a total reset, pure luxury and time to relax then this is the place. There is absolutely no need to leave the hotel for anything as there is nothing as nice. Can't wait to go back next year"
