"ROOMS We booked junior suite with a sea view the room was perfect cleaned every day outside spacious area but it was too hot to sit in when we were there. ALL INCLUSIVE We booked an all inclusive basis and it is definitely worth it. The food was plentiful and varied and we never found it repetitive over the week. The all inclusive wines and cocktails were of a good standard. If you don’t go all inclusive the food and drinks can be pricy STAFF We found all staff to be really lovely. I can’t single one out because they were all friendly, courteous and extremely professional.. ACTIVITIES What I enjoyed here was that the entertainment was completely different from the usual standard and included candle making soap making jewelry making and my favourite a painting lesson… make sure you book these when you arrive because places are limited. There was the usual aqua aerobics but not too noisy and otherwise nice quiet poolside EVENING ENTERTAINMENT High quality entertainment including an earlier evening set e.g violinist or saxophone then at 9pm until 1030 different singers or acts one of which was 2 opera singers who were absolutely fabulous ! LOCAL AREA Never been to Tenerife before but found it to be busy but very clean We did the trip to mount Teide and Masca etc which was good value .. if u don’t like heights definitely better to go with the skilled bus driver than take a car yourself All in all we have had a wonderful week we spent more time at the hotel than we normally would due to its very relaxed atmosphere and very friendly staff"

"We stayed here for seven nights in a junior sea view level room (801) on an all inclusive basis. Checking in was straight forward in the dedicated area. Staff were attentive and friendly. The room was exceptional, spacious very clean, lovely terrace area with sea and pool views. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped. The main buffet restaurant serves a variety of foods every day, again staff are very friendly (Paula). Salads are superb as are deserts. The main bar area has a wide selection of drinks available in AI. You ask for a beer it’s served in a pint glass (mahou on draft). The pool area exclusive for level guests is clean, peaceful and the bar staff come round periodically to take your orders. We ate breakfast every day in the level lounge area, the breakfasts were served à la carte and it was less hectic here. As well as items ordered off the menu they had a variety of pastries, fruit etc you helped yourself to. The main pool area is very nice, plenty of sun beds, with a pool bar, although it was quite small so I would imagine in the height of summer it would take a while to get served. It’s not beach front so takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to nearby beaches. The promenade is great if you enjoy a walk. The hotel is in several levels, main reception is on level 5, along with buffet restaurant and main bar. The level lounge area and reception is on level 4. The main pool area is on -1. There are plenty of lifts or if you’re feeling energetic stairs you can use. One thing worth mentioning is if you’re on the pool area (level-1) and need to get to level 8 like we did you need to take 3 lifts, one goes to level 2, then take another to level 5 and finally to level 8. You can get a lift from level 2 to level 7 but then you need to take stairs to get to level 8. The hotel is exceptional, however there are some things I’d point out. The minbar in your room is chargeable even if your AI and a level guest, this was disappointing given the amount you’ve paid extra for these services and especially as these items were available in the bars anyway. The main buffet restaurant, the hot food was very hit and miss, quite often it was lukewarm, they often had the same meat served multiple ways, so if you don’t like pork (I do) you might struggle some nights, although there are plenty of options. The biggest disappointment was they have a lovely Mediterranean restaurant near the main pool area overlooking the sea, it’s not included in the AI package, you only get 50% off food and drinks are full price. It was virtually empty every evening, a waste of a beautiful restaurant. Don’t fall for the “exciting free gift” to enhance your experience, it’s basically a sales ploy to get you to join some kind of scheme, we didn’t go as I’d heard about it. All in all it’s a beautiful hotel and I would definitely recommend it, if they opened up the Mediterranean restaurant it would be even better."
