Vibra Palma Cactus Hotel

"A property with great potential: now it needs to take the next step. I was recently at this hotel and, unlike purely negative reviews, mine is meant above all to be an invitation to improve, because the property really has some nice potential. The location is very pleasant: a cute little cove, lots of greenery, and a beautiful pine forest, with the beach nearby (even though access requires a fee). There are also multiple pools, which are certainly a strong point. The lobby is new, modern, and well-maintained, and it immediately gives a good impression, as does the very kind and always available reception staff. Unfortunately, once you leave the renovated parts, you still encounter quite a few aspects that would need some work. The rooms are really very, very small. In my case, opening the suitcase on the designated luggage rack made it practically impossible to pass: the spaces were so reduced that even simply managing luggage was not very easy. Furthermore, the rooms would need greater care in cleaning, and the doors, as well as some areas and some staircases, still show the weight of the years. And then there is the carpet in the hallways, which contributes to giving some areas a decidedly more dated look compared to the beautiful image that the lobby offers instead. The All Inclusive service also has its ups and downs. The formula is certainly convenient and also includes drinks, but there were often long lines at the dispensers and bar areas. The cocktails, personally, I found them very unconvincing: more than cocktails, they often seemed like heavily watered-down concoctions. Regarding the food, however, nothing to say: good and quite varied, especially at lunch and dinner. Here I found a certainly satisfactory, though certainly not cheap, offering. What should be improved is the service in the dining room. The staff seemed a bit slow to me, especially in managing the tables: it was not rare to see tables that had just been vacated remain for a long time without being cleared and cleaned. Overall, therefore, my experience was positive in some aspects, but with several critical issues that, in my opinion, prevent the facility from expressing its full potential. The feeling is that of a hotel that has already begun a renovation process, but still needs to complete it. The new lobby shows that it can be done. Now it would be necessary to bring that same level of care to the rooms, the hallways, and the common areas, along with greater efficiency in service. The location is beautiful, the outdoor spaces are pleasant, the pools are an added value, and the cuisine has a good foundation. With a bit of investment, more attention to cleanliness, a renovation of the still obsolete parts, and faster and more organized service, it could become a truly much more competitive facility. For this reason, mine is not meant to be a rejection, but an encouragement: you have a good facility and a beautiful location. Now you need to have the courage to take that extra step."

"I've just returned from a lovely short break with a friend at this hotel. It was a lovely stay, good location with a short walk to the beach but up a nice quiet street. The staff are great, cheerful, helpful and the hotel is well run and very clean. The pool is small but lovely, not tons of sunloungers but its fine 2because people are coming and going so not a problem getting a bed. Food at breakfast is to a good standard and a nice range. The hotel guests seemed to be like minded whichever country they were from and though there is a little echo in the hall when people were talking there was little to no noise after 11pm. I would recommend the Cactus to friends, couples and families that want a clean polished mid range hotel with a peaceful, friendly holiday in mind."

"Stars should have 2 not 4: tiny rooms no bathroom accessories like courtesy kit slippers instead of bathrobe of mini bath towels barely the soap dispenser and shampoo, minibar empty even l.water on arrival. At the linen change The maid regularly forgot either a bath towel or the mat. Poor breakfast with waitresses looking at your plates and checking what you're getting. No room service. The swimming pool is a bathtub, there is no meeting point to talk in the evening either on the pool or in the lobby. If you stay with other guests to talk in the courtyard of the entrance the security officer comes out as if it were a college. In short, it is expensive as a 4 star hotel but avoid going there is bad and the staff is rude to the Italians. The TV in my children's room did not work despite 3 interventions by a technician. Very expensive week in a hotel that is worth less than half of what was spent. Also not recommended the area where it is located especially for evening users."
