"Fabulous!
We absolutely love this hotel having first visited in July 2025. What makes it is the staff, you can feel/see that they enjoy their jobs and ensuring guests have a great time.
It’s in a wonderful location. Paguera is a lovely town packed with traditional bars and lots of tourist shops but it is not commercialised like some of the other towns in Mallorca which was a big plus for us. There are several bays, all similar. The beach is wonderful with golden sand and clear water with a gentle gradient so perfect for little ones. It takes around 10 minutes to walk to the beach which is downhill. There’s a Lidl supermarket around 15 minutes walk from the hotel as well. Location of the hotel is great. Easily walkable to everything you need but quiet. Expect the airport transfer to be 1.5-2hours though!
We stayed in a golden room on both occasions. The housekeeping staff are wonderful and the rooms are kept beautifully. The air conditioning is great and the ceiling fan is a brilliant addition. Decor is lovely, the pictures are an accurate representation of the rooms. We had no problems with noise and faced out onto the entertainment from the third floor. Doors are soft close and people were generally respectful, we slept well! The one downfall about the room is lack of space for drying swimsuits/towels. Especially this time, our patio door was the other way around and didn’t open very far.
Food and drink is great. Food is varied with themed nights. Someone is cooking on the grill for each meal and it’s always different meat and fish. Lovely fresh salads and fruit too.
The food truck for the intervals between meals is absolutely brilliant, great food. Sadly the wasps do make it difficult to sit and enjoy the food, we did enjoy being able to sit under cover when the truck was located by Felicita in 2025, where we didn’t have the same wasp issue.
We didn’t eat at the à la carte, Felicita, last year but made sure to this year and were very glad we did. The caprese salad and beef carpaccio in particular were incredible. What was especially lovely was how accommodating the staff were, ensuring we were able to sit outside despite us accidentally booking an inside table. Great service.
Drinks - anything you could ever wish for is included in the all inclusive plus, and the cocktails and mocktails are wonderful! Several Walls lollies inc calippos and twisters are included too which is a big plus for the children.
Absolutely lovely staff in the bars and restaurant too. Yolanda in the bar downstairs looked after us really well every day.
Reception staff were great too. Check in is a little slow, especially when you arrive late however we appreciate the personal touch and so this is a minor point.
Entertainment - brilliant! The animation team are wonderful, most notably Helena, Tessa and Maggie who are all fabulous assets to the hotel. They work flat out for long days but always with a smile on their face. It truly makes the holiday for children, ours (8&5) absolutely loved the kids club and insisted on going every day. Expect activities like face painting, pizza making and a very energetic mini disco. I agree with the other review that said Tessa should be paid 10 times what she is!
Pools - the relax pool is the warmest at 30 degrees and is where we spent most of our time. Plenty of sunbeds and shade and sunbeds became available throughout the day. Sadly the over zealous older lifeguard was a member of the fun police and we witnessed a number of very uncomfortable exchanges. We were relieved on the last day that he was off duty!! Special late shout out to the brilliant lifeguard at the family pool that dressed my son’s leg after he fell on gravel when we arrived last year (forgot to review back then). Tino’s splash is fab for the kids but it is cold (as in straight out the tap). The family pool is somewhere between the 2 and manageable in the August heat.
The gym is good too - showers are great for the final day once you’re checked out. There’s a secure luggage room until you depart.
Lastly a big thank you to Christian who looked after us last year in the restaurant and recognised us again this year. It’s evident that the management demand high standards and role model such behaviour themselves. Given the number of customers through the hotel, we certainly didn’t expect to be recognised; that we were is reflective of the personal service you can expect here. At all levels of seniority, nothing is too much trouble and all staff are friendly, polite and enthusiastic (except the older lifeguard that stands out like a sore thumb!!!)
Tip: The screen on floor one on the way out to the pool is great for obtaining information on what’s on, a great addition.
Tip: Can’t recommend the dolphin watch boat trip with Cruise Cormoran enough. Incredible, and wonderful staff to boot. It leaves from Paguera - the walk is around 20 minutes from the hotel."
