"This was our first package holiday and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel and, in particular, the food - the buffet restaurant is fantastic and there is a huge range which suited everyone in our family. Our children loved the pools and also enjoyed spending some time at the kids’ club, which is very well run - we took the chance to relax in the adult only areas of the hotel, which are lovely and quiet. The hotel grounds are very peaceful, leafy and relaxing. The evening entertainment was also surprisingly good, although families with young children should be aware that the entertainment stage is outside in the pool bar area and usually goes on past 10pm. It isn’t hugely noisy, but can be distracting at bedtime, so perhaps ask for a room in the main pool side of the hotel instead. The rooms are cosy but clean and comfortable. We appreciated the beach/pool toy recycling box - we borrowed a couple of beach parasols and returned them at the end if the week. The box is a great idea! Peguera is a lovely town with some great beaches. Our favourite was Platja de Torà, which was a bit quieter and shadier than Palmira, although it is a bit further to walk. We tended to visit the beach in the morning so that we could do the walk back before it got too hot, as it is partly uphill. Western Water Park is also easy to visit and a great day out. We definitely recommend visiting Valentin Grand Park Suite and will hopefully return ourselves."

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Valentin Grand Park in Palma Mallorca and would highly recommend it to families. It was, without a doubt, a wonderful week and one we will remember for a long time! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how much thought the hotel puts into creating memorable experiences for families. The food was very good, with an excellent variety at breakfast, including a special children’s area where little ones can serve themselves. We also loved the Italian restaurant, Felicità, which was absolutely wonderful. The hotel even offers experiences such as paella and sangria demonstrations and tastings, which are a lovely touch. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special mention must go to the housekeeping team and, above all, the fantastic entertainment team, who truly made our holiday! The hotel has seven swimming pools, with different areas for relaxation and others designed especially for children. Our 7-year-old absolutely loved the children’s pools, especially the slides and water jets. There is so much attention to children throughout the whole hotel — we even had the wonderful surprise of seeing ponies for the children! The Mini Club is fantastic. The activities are very well thought out, age-appropriate and organised around different themes, often involving the whole hotel team. The Disney Day was particularly special and showed just how much effort the staff put into creating experiences that children will remember. But the real highlight of our stay was definitely the entertainment team. They made every day special with a fantastic range of activities, from the daily Mini Disco and bingo to quizzes and evening shows. The shows were of an exceptionally high standard and really showcased the amazing energy between the team, their creativity and their ability to improvise. There was always something happening, but it never felt forced — everything was fun, engaging and full of energy. We also really appreciated that there were activities for children during the evening shows, allowing parents to enjoy the entertainment while knowing their children were having fun too. And then there is Tino, the hotel’s adorable penguin mascot! 🐧 He was definitely the star of our son’s holiday. Tino visited the Mini Club and appeared at the end of the Mini Disco after the children received their medals and certificates. Our 7-year-old became completely obsessed with him and wanted to buy all the Tino merchandise! In the end, he chose a Tino plush toy and carried it absolutely everywhere for the rest of our holiday. ❤️ The location is also excellent — just a 5-minute walk from the beach, and parking was very easy and convenient. The only small downside was that the pool bar could get quite busy at times, making it difficult to find a table. Overall, this hotel really understands what families need. There is so much attention to detail, so many activities and experiences, and an incredible amount of care put into making children feel special. We would absolutely recommend the Valentin Grand Park to families and will definitely be coming back! It was a truly wonderful week, and a huge thank you to the entire team — especially the animation team — for making our holiday so memorable. ❤️🐧"

"We had a lovely holiday as a family of four and we had no massive complaints but a few points that may help others to choose whether this is the right hotel. Room was incredibly small for a “family room”, basically a normal room with a pretty low range sofa bed at the end. The toilet and shower are also just off to the side of the room so not much privacy. We asked for an upgrade and checked before to see if we could get a balcony but there was no option to do this. Cleaning was pretty slapdash and the same sheets were put back on a few nights in a row and the floors weren’t cleaned. The other areas in the hotel are also quite run down and carpets are stained and dirty. The entertainment was ok but as our room faced onto the pool area it was very loud until around 10.30pm, it would be tough to go to bed anytime before then. It would’ve been nice to know this as we would have asked to be placed in a different part of the hotel. There were also families who stayed up very late and ran and shouted down the corridors which was tough, maybe we’ve just been lucky with other hotels we’ve stayed in but we do enjoy our sleep! Food was ok, we were half board so it was fine but if we were all inclusive it would’ve been very samey. It was also very busy which I know is to be expected but we haven’t experienced it being this busy in any other hotel. The fresh morning pancakes and churros were lovely though. Peguera and the Beach are only a short walk and we enjoyed this hugely, such a lovely beach with nice restaurants and bars. Definitely get the bus from Peguera into Palma too as it’s so easy and a great day/evening out."
