"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Zafiro Palace Alcudia – An unforgettable 10/10 family holiday!
We’ve just returned from an absolutely wonderful holiday at Zafiro Palace Alcudia, and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’ve come home with some amazing memories and would happily return.
From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The staff are genuinely the highlight of this hotel — 10/10! Every person we met was friendly, welcoming, helpful and always smiling. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble.
A special mention to Patricia, who checked us in and quickly became a fantastic source of guidance for us throughout our stay. She was incredibly helpful and made us feel so welcome from the very beginning. All of the reception staff were excellent in their mannerisms, professionalism and politeness. They were always approachable, welcoming and happy to help, and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. It really set the tone for our entire stay.
Danielle from Guest Relations was absolutely fantastic. As some of our party of six are vegan, food was a really important part of our holiday, and Danielle went above and beyond to make sure our needs were properly catered for. She was incredibly attentive and organised everything so thoughtfully. Nothing was too much trouble. The head chef also went above and beyond, creating beautiful signature dishes especially for us, ensuring that the vegan members of our group could enjoy delicious, varied and properly prepared food throughout our stay. The effort and care that went into this was exceptional, and we genuinely appreciated everything they did to make sure everyone could eat well and enjoy the all-inclusive experience.
We also want to give a huge shout-out to Simone, Mohamed, Edward, Miguel and Luz Flores. We actually booked our holiday just 48 hours before arriving, so naturally we had lots of questions beforehand. Simone went above and beyond over email, answering all of our questions and making sure we had everything we needed before we even arrived. She and Edward were both incredibly prompt with their replies, which gave us so much reassurance and made the whole process so easy.
We then had the pleasure of meeting Mohamed, Edward, Miguel and Luz Flores regularly while dining. They all took such a shine to our son and were so kind and wonderful with him. It really meant a lot to us. And honestly, every member of staff in the Market restaurant was incredibly supportive, kind and generous. The level of service and hospitality throughout the hotel is something we won’t forget.
The hotel itself is absolutely stunning and breathtaking. Everything is beautifully presented and aesthetically pleasing, from the rooms and views to the grounds and overall atmosphere. We stayed in two family rooms in Block 4, and the views were beautiful. The cleanliness throughout the resort was superb, and you can really see the care that goes into maintaining the whole property.
The food and drinks were a huge part of our experience. Being all-inclusive meant we could completely switch off and enjoy ourselves without worrying about anything. We ate and drank to our heart’s content, and the food was fantastic. And the mocktails were out of this world! 🍹
The pools and pool bar quickly became a favourite for us. We loved spending our afternoons there together after heading to the beach in the mornings. There’s just something about the atmosphere at this hotel — it has such a magical, positive energy. It really is the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy yourself and feel completely at ease.
The evening entertainment was also really lovely. There was a different theme every night, which kept things interesting, and our son absolutely loved it. One of his favourite moments was getting a Zizzy Bear, which very quickly became his new favourite! 🧸❤️ It was lovely seeing how much effort goes into making the evenings enjoyable for children as well as adults.
The location is also fantastic. Platja d’Alcúdia is only around a 10-minute walk from the hotel, which was incredibly convenient. The beach itself is beautiful, with clean sand and lovely water, and it was particularly good for our son — very family-friendly.
We also had a massage and pedicure at the spa, and both were fantastic. The spa team were professional, friendly and welcoming, and we really enjoyed the experience.
We visited in August, so it was peak season and understandably very busy, but because the resort is so spacious, it never felt uncomfortable or overly crowded. There’s plenty of room for everyone. The sun loungers can get busy, so a little kindness and sharing goes a long way — something we were more than happy to do.
And finally, a special mention to Orze, the photographer, who was brilliant! We had a family photoshoot and chose to do a sunset shoot, and the photographs have come out absolutely amazing. They’re memories we’ll treasure for years to come. 📸❤️
If we had one small suggestion for the all-inclusive package, it would be to include the mini-bar in the all-inclusive offering and to provide bottled water in the rooms. We would have found this much more convenient than having to use the communal water dispenser on the corridor, particularly when travelling with a child. These are only small points, though, and certainly didn’t take away from what was otherwise an exceptional stay.
If we had to sum up our stay, the staff are without a doubt the best thing about this hotel, followed by the exceptional effort made to cater for our dietary requirements, the beautiful rooms, the stunning surroundings and the incredible atmosphere.
We had two family rooms, spent precious time together, enjoyed fantastic food, relaxed by the pool, visited the beach, enjoyed the evening entertainment, had some lovely treatments and captured some beautiful family memories.
