"Nice apartment very clean, we were half board, breakfast was fine, dinner wasn't the best so we ate out after second night, pool was lovely, there was a horrible cheap scent in the reception and dining area that should be removed. Overall it was a nice apartment complex."

"Do not often write reviews but feel it is necessary to share our experience of our recent two week stay at Relaxia Lanzaplaya. After checking in at reception we were given directions to our apartment, would have been a great help if someone could have helped with luggage as there were many steps to climb and shown us exactly where the apartment was situated as it was difficult to navigate around the complex at night-time. Allocated room 2209, so bear that in mind the steps for those with walking difficulties. The apartment was small, aircon was not working in kitchen/living area, it was working in the bedroom but that did not compensate for none in the living area and it was exceptionally warm and uncomfortable. Shower in the small bathroom was claustrophobic. One minute the water was warm, then rang cold, it was impossible to regulate the temperature. Took ages to wash your hair due to the low water pressure in shower. The plug hole was completely blocked and flooded the entire bathroom, we had to use all the towels to soak up the water and then request help from maintenance. No dressing table in bedroom. There was one plug beside a mirror which was not secured properly to the wall, extremely dangerous to use. We reported aircon and plug issue at reception, but it was never sorted. The curtain in living area came off the rail when closing. This issue was fixed. The apartment itself was grubby, the floors were always dirty, unable to walk on bare feet. Doors, woodwork, walls etc need a complete refurbishment. The pool area was ok, but pool was off putting due to the build up of dirt on the grout between the tiles. Ordered food one day at the pool bar, poor quality. Had one Sex On Beach cocktail, it tasted like diluted orange. On our last night the receptionist rang us at 2.40 int he morning to say the fire alarm was going off, there was no fire alarm sound in our room, so i assumed there was a fire near our apartment and we needed to get out. Then i was asked if we were cooking or smoking, we had been in bed since 11, needless to say there was not much sleep after that. In the morning I asked at reception what was going on and was told that the fire alarm in our apartment must be faulty. We requested a late check out as we had a night flight. Was told No! Too busy. Then was told there might be a courtesy room available later that we could use for 30 minutes. This meant moving our luggage 3 times. At 5 there still was no occupants in the apartment that we had to vacate at 12. So we could have had a late check out. Looked forward to a much needed holiday, but Relaxia Lanzaplaya was not for us."

"Great hotel minutes from the main strip. The only downside was the lack of entertainment.Maybe because of it’s location.At the time of our visit the only bar open was at the pool.I don’t know how the lounge bar inside the hotel was closed.Other than that the food ,the staff and everything else was brilliant."
