"What a great week we have just spent at your hotel. From check in to check out everything was perfect…the hotel was spotless and so well organised. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. I have read complaints about air conditioning but I did not experience this at all ….it was very efficient and use was not restricted like many other hotels. I can totally understand why people go back year after year."

"Firstly, the hotel is in a great location. It’s within walking distance of everything you’d need in Corralejo, with the harbour, restaurants, supermarkets and bars all nearby. The hotel is very well maintained. It’s clean, well looked after and any issues were remedied very quickly by the very helpful and friendly reception team - the warmest of welcomes from Alessandro upon arrival, and every time we entered the hotel. That’s true of everyone who worked on reception throughout the week I was there. I was impressed by the cleanliness standards throughout the hotel - the restaurant, pool area, corridors, communal areas, everywhere is as you’d expect in a premium H10 hotel. My room was very comfortable, spacious and bright. The terrace had a table and chairs on it, plus two sun beds, so I didn’t actually use the pool area at all. The bed was large and very comfy, and the pillows were great too. The room had black out curtains & was dark, so I had 7 great nights of sleep. There’s tea & coffee making facilities including a Nespresso machine. The shower had a tendency to leak over the bathroom floor, so make sure you put a towel down before you turn it on. However, I have one main issue with the room - there’s not enough storage space. The wardrobe was wide enough to take my wife’s dresses and my shirts hung up, but there’s nowhere in the room to put everything else away. There’s no drawers other than the bedside table ones and they’re tiny. There’s lots of dead space in the room that could fit a decent size chest of drawers - there’s a large wasted space under the TV (I’ve added a photo) where a chest of drawers could go. We ended up storing underwear etc in bags under the bedside table - not great - and a simple fix for the hotel to make. One wardrobe is not enough space to store everything you take to wear on holiday. The food at the restaurant was excellent both at breakfast time and dinner. Breakfast is a buffet, dinner is à la carte. The food at dinner is freshly cooked for you from the à la carte menu. There’s a small buffet for starters and desserts, but I liked that what I chose for dinner was prepared especially for me and arrived piping hot & delicious. I also liked that you are offered a glass of Cava every evening with your dinner - there’s an extensive drinks menu available to accompany your dinner too. The team that worked in the restaurant weren’t always as friendly as the reception team. Sometimes they’d say hello, sometimes not. I’m super friendly & I always made the effort to say hello but it wasn’t always reciprocated which is disappointing as they’re the people we’d had the most exposure to during our stay, and are the main ambassadors for the hotel. When they spoke, they were lovely, but there wasn’t any consistency so we never really knew where we stood with the restaurant team. As checkout is at midday and my pick up wasn’t until 4pm, I arranged to use the hotel’s courtesy room before my pick up - as with other areas of the hotel, it was clean, tidy and well looked after and is a great benefit to guests who have checked out and have several hours to kill in the heat before being collected for the airport. I’d recommend this hotel - it’s in a great location, it’s very quiet, a good place to book if you just want to relax. It’s comfortable and clean, and you’ll eat well there. There’s just a few improvements needed and that’s why I haven’t rated it as highly as I might have."

"If air con is a big requirement for your holiday, then this really isn’t the hotel for you. We asked several times for our air con to be sorted, but our room (201) never went below 27°C and reached as high as 31°C at times. We hardly slept because the room was just so hot and uncomfortable. On the first night, the air con would only come on if we left the balcony door open. We were then told this was fine because there was security and it was very safe. We were two women travelling on our own, so we didn’t feel comfortable with this at all. We also heard quite a few other guests talking about their air con not working, so this clearly isn’t just an isolated problem. Looking through other reviews, it also seems that the air con issue has been going on for quite a few months, which is very disappointing. We booked the shower room to freshen up before leaving, but unfortunately the shower was freezing cold and wasn’t working properly. There was no air con in there either, so we ended up leaving with unwashed hair and feeling hot and sweaty again. When we reported this to reception, they didn’t seem in the least bit interested or concerned. The food was very average. Breakfast was ok, and lunch was better than the evening meal, so we ended up having lunch most days instead. I would recommend going B&B only and eating out, as there are so many places right on the doorstep to choose from. The hotel is in a great location, with the beach only about two minutes away and the main shops and restaurants also just a short walk. If you are considering booking this hotel, I would definitely check that the air con problem has been properly sorted before booking, as this really did make the whole trip very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, we also found the staff to be quite uninterested and unbothered whenever we raised an issue, whether it was the air con or cold showers. It seemed like they were just bored of the continuous complaints about the air con. The location is great, but for us, the ongoing air con problems took away from what should have been a relaxing holiday."
