"Dear Fuentepark Team, I wanted to take a moment to personally thank everyone at Fuentepark for the kindness, understanding and assistance you gave my wife and me during our recent stay. As you know, when we arrived at approximately 10:15pm on Saturday 1 August, we were extremely concerned to discover that the booking we had made through trivago DEALS had not been received by the hotel, despite us having confirmation stating that our accommodation was booked and paid for. After travelling to Fuerteventura and arriving late in the evening, finding ourselves without a reservation was obviously a very stressful situation. However, the way the Fuentepark team handled everything was excellent. We were incredibly fortunate that you had one apartment remaining that evening, and we are extremely grateful that you were able to accommodate us at such short notice. Without your help, we really don't know what we would have done at that time of night. Although initially the apartment was only available for five nights, your team continued to do everything possible to help us remain at Fuentepark for the rest of our holiday. I would particularly like to thank your Commercial Manager, who took the time to investigate the missing reservation and attempted to contact trivago DEALS on our behalf. Although the issue with trivago DEALS could not be resolved during our stay, we genuinely appreciated the effort he made to try to help us. Despite the difficult circumstances surrounding our booking, we thoroughly enjoyed Fuentepark itself, and the professionalism and kindness shown by your staff made a very stressful situation considerably easier for both of us. I also want to make it very clear that we place no blame whatsoever on Fuentepark for what happened. From everything we experienced, the hotel had simply never received our reservation. Once we arrived, your staff went above and beyond to help us. Please pass on our sincere thanks to everyone involved. What could have been a complete disaster was rescued by the help and understanding of the Fuentepark team, and we are very grateful. We would certainly be happy to stay with you again — although next time I think we'll make sure we book directly with Fuentepark! 😊 Thank you again for everything. "This is the 4th time staying! It's so chilled, this year there was sun bed and umbrella wars. Waiting from 8.30 for pool to open at about 9.30. Didn't bother us because we just got up when we wanted and used the chairs/bed on terrace if we even stayed by the pool as there are beautiful beaches within walking distance or bus ride away. Was amusing to watch the rush for the same beds though 😆 Just to note if it does become an issue reception are more than happy to remove towels and sent notes to each room after the gates were breached one morning 😄 Apartments are clean and basic with everything you need. Perfect location and value if you want a chilled relaxed atmosphere. Same staff all the times we have been who are wonderful and helpful, cannot stress how much they make a difference to the general chilled and family vibe. I don't care about any of the reviews saying dated or needs anything, for us it's perfect. The bathrooms have however been updated, I love them! The staff work exceptionally hard from reception, maintenance, housekeeping, bar and pool staff and its always clean. Top tips El Cotillo is definitely worth a visit. Check the weather before heading to the flag beach. If its too windy you can't go in the sea and you get sandblasted. Dune buggies are fantastic trip as is catamaran to lobos. Thanks for the complimentary wine left in our room for being a returning customer, touches like this are much appreciated 🥰"

"Location of apartments is great, just set back off strip and close to beach. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had two apartments close together which was great. Pool is lovely, I agree with comments could do with more sunbeds but to be fair lots of people guilty of leaving towels on sunbeds and not there for hours. We went to use pool but didn't stay long as we enjoy being out and about. The pool bar food was good and happy hour was an added bonus 3-4pm. Apartments are dated but are clean and have everything you need and are comfortable. We would return here in the future. As we were a late flight and apartments fully booked you can book a slot at reception to use shower which was helpful."
