"My husband and I had an enjoyable 10 night visit and were made to feel very welcome. We went as part of Jet2 package holiday, and at the time of our holiday this included our rooms being serviced every 3 to 4 days. This was done to a high standard.
The hotel is in a good location and it is an easy walk to music square, the harbour area, the main shopping street, the beach and the many varied restaurants bars (traditional pubs, cocktail bars, live music bars etc) and cafes. If you are lucky you will get to see a beautiful sunset from the roof top bar at the apartment complex.
If you want to venture out of the resort. Car hire is reasonably priced. It is easy to travel to the capital Puerto de Rosario or El Cotillo by bus (no. 6 and 8 respectively). Turn left at the front of the hotel, a short walk on the opposite side of the road in front of the medical center is the bus stop. At the time of our visit it cost 3 Euro 40 cents for a single ticket to the capital. It is also only a short ferry ride from the harbour if you fancy a day trip to neighbouring Lanzarote.
We stayed in a 1 bedroom ground floor apartment. It was quite compact but made good utilisation of the space available. There was a small entrance hall and an open planned kitchen/dining/lounge area leading out to the patio.
In the kitchen there was a hob, I believe a combination microwave, a large tall fridge/freezer and a full size dishwasher. In our apartment the small appliances such as the kettle and toaster had been stored in the cupboard above the microwave. There was also a coffee machine with 2 complementary pods. Plus your usual pots/crockery/cutlery/tea towel/ washing up liquid etc
There are 4 chairs at the spacious dining room table. A double sofa bed in the lounge, a TV, a fan and a large useful mirror. There were several free sockets available which were put to good use when we wanted to recharge our phones watches etc
We dont normally watch TV on holiday but on a couple of occasions we switched on and were able to watch a couple of films in English and I enjoyed having the Spanish subtitles.
The shower room has no windows but does have a powerful extractor fan. The walk in shower is large and it has a good shower with several spray options. We had no problems with the shower and had plenty hot water available for the 2 of us. There is also a hairdryer and large mirror.
In the bedroom there was a double wardrobe,we found the bed and pillows comfortable and we slept very well, there are 2 small side bedroom tables, an iron and ironing board and also a TV and a safe.
The safe was free but a 25 Euro deposit by card was requested for the key. The money was "held" . I returned my key at the key drop box next to the side entrance/exit for the complex and no money was taken from my account.
As we were on the ground floor we had a small patio area with a table, 4 chairs and a "washing line". We overlooked a small garden and the opposite apartments.
The swimming pool is enclosed, the pool is deep over 1.6 m at the shallow end. There was a life guard on duty. There were 20 sunloungers around the pool. We were there for 10days and there was only one occasion late afternoon that they wete fully occupied. I didn't use the pool as I enjoy getting out and about walking, exploring the resort and going to the beach.
I liked not having to carry a key card or key with me when I went out, entrance to the apartment was by entering a code on the keypad on the handle of the door.
I found the staff to be very helpful. I liked that they touched base with me on the day after arrival to see that we had settled in okay and that they were available to help if we needed anything.
You can also pay for activities at the complex."
