"We stayed for 6 nights in December. The location is great for beach and amenities. The hotel is recently refurbished, our room was lovely, cleaned every day. Our observations room wise (which we did leave our feedback to the hotel and may we just clarify it was feedback not any complaints!), wi-fi was great in the living area but not the bedroom. Our daughter slept on the sofa bed in the living area which meant she had the wi-fi and TV - the bedroom area could do with an additional TV for evenings and of course wi-fi access. The air conditioning only serviced the living areas also and not the bedroom. Although the bedroom did have a window this was located on a busy corridor and open to road noise. The bathroom was immaculate however there was nowhere to place your toiletries, we had to put these on the floor of the shower and bathroom floor. A few shelves or units for storage would be amazing. The downside bathroom wise is the light automatically goes on when you go to the toilet, this proved rather annoying at 2am! you are wide awake. Our balcony was amazing, sun trap and we spent quite a lot of time there however there was 3 of us staying but only 2 chairs - there should be enough furniture for the number of guests staying. I personally never had breakfast but my daughter and husband did each morning, they said it was nice but there could be more choice, especially for children.
The pool area was great, plenty sunbeds. The pool bar for food was great. You do have to leave a deposit of 10 euros per pool towel, this is returned when you return the towels at the end of your stay You also have to pay additional deposit for safe and daily fee (think it was 20 euro deposit and around 2 euro per day to use) which was a little disappointing.
There are daily games / entertainment at the pool area each day, it is personally is not our thing, but the staff were lovely and respected your choice not to take part. The music at the pool could do with toning down though, it is not everyone's cup of tea and rather loud. Again, for us we just prefer a little more peace and quiet.
As a Personal Trainer sadly the gym is a must for me on holiday and this did disappoint. It is a very small room containing only a spin bike, a treadmill, a weight bench and various dumbbells. You cannot fit more than 2 people in the room. There was no towels available in the gym nor was there any cleaning product which is just a no for me! It meant all equipment used by all guests were left with their sweat on it. Feedback was left with the hotel that cleaner needs to be provided as well as towels and access to water. It is a shame as the gym was used quite a lot while we were there, but they have chosen to fill two larger rooms next to it with children's games, slot machines and other arcade stuff which costs you and no one was using. The gym could be amazing as per the projection picture when we booked. It done the trick for the stay however hygiene needs addressing (as well as not letting children use it as a place to play!).
Overall the hotel was clean, it served its purpose for what we wanted, the staff were lovely and helpful, the rooms were cleaned - just a few teething issues which are not major. We would stay here again."
