"Lovely hotel with great rooms and fantastic rooftop bar. Smooth checkin with glass of sparkles. Food good ( though just my personal opinion - breakfast a bit hit or miss. Order mix up on day 1 , wait time on day 2, and food could have been a bit warmer both days) Spotlessly clean and views and cocktails on roof fantastic."

"We only stayed for one night prior to a cruise but it was perfect. Perfect location, perfect hotel, great breakfast (service a little slow but there were only two on duty at the time we went), nice little pool and sunbeds on the roof and space for a drink and eating. Did I say breakfast was great? :) Location was fabulous a short hop across the road to the harbour with plenty of restaurants and some amazing restaurants just around the back of the hotel. Within walking distance of El Born an the Gothic quarter. Would not hesitate to come come back for a longer stay. The only pet irritant was that we had a kingsize bed which was two singles pushed together but, they were both different heights. Didn't bother me but it bothered my husband."

"Just checked out from H10 Port vell after 3 lovely days in Barcelona with a friend. The hotel was overall very nice with a good location and good facilities. Unfortunately the staff does need to work on their customer service. After our room had been cleaned we returned from the beach to find a large pubic hair on our bed and when we told the reception they told us they would clean the room again but otherwise didnt seem particularly concerned with the incident (we dont know if they did as no message to apologise) We did not have breakfast included as we generally eat late but when, upon check out, i went to pour 2 glasses of orange juice from their breakfast bar whilst waiting for our taxi, a very rude breakfast staff member came to tell us off making us feel like juice thieves rather than guests that had paid more thank £1000 for a mini break. So, as i am frequently in Barcelona, this is a message to the hotel. Please educate your staff to make guests feel valued and welcome throughout the stay - not just at checkin. There are many great hotels in barcelona so sadly not sure i will return to H10 Port Vell as left feeling like 5 year old orange juice thief!"
