Yes – plenty! If you want to use public transport to get around, look for the Bolhão or Trindade metro stations. There are also buses and trams that you can hop on, but most things are walkable from here. 

Bolhão is made up of a couple of blocks between the famous shopping street Rua de Santa Catarina and Avenida dos Aliados. So, yes, there are many, many shops to spend your money in!
In a word, yes! It’s the centre of the city. If you stay around here, you can easily walk around the whole of the downtown area. You also won’t be short of cafés, bars, restaurants and places to visit.
