"If you are looking for a small piece of paradise and a quiet retreat away from it all, this is the place for you. If you are looking for nightlife and local bars and restaurants then it's definitely not the place for you.
The hotel is advertised as Side but is actually in Cavoskoy, which is a remote location about 20 minutes outside Side and approx a €30-€50 taxi ride away but there is a dolmus service if you are feeling more adventurous.
The hotel is well maintained and spotlessly clean and consists of a range of two storey blocks and garden bungalows.
If you are after a sea view. You certainly can't complain as all rooms, which are located on the first floor have a totally uninterrupted view of the sea and coast line. The only downside is they are only accessible by stairs, so not ideal for the less mobile.
All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful and will go the extra mile to ensure you enjoy your holiday.
There is one main buffet restaurant which offers an excellent choice of vegetarian and vegan food. In fact probably 60% of the food is vegetarian.
If you are expecting pizza, chips and burgers, this restaurant isn't for you, the menu is very turkish with lots of casserole type dishes and very little in the way of meats on their own except turkey, koftas, kebabs and the occasion lamb which was extremely tender
There is always some grilled fish which is always well cooked but very little other seafood.
Again excellent service by all the waiting staff especially Florence, Eren and Haci who always make sure you drinks are regularly refilled if required.
The hotel advertises a range of al a carte restaurants but these are all chargeable locally and not included in the all inclusive package and book up really quickly as all restaurants use the same space so alternate the days.
The Japanese restaurant was disappointing as it only seats 8 people because it's a dining experience but only available once a week. So there is little chance to go but they might increase that during the season.
The snack bars on the other hand have a wide menu ranging from soup, pizza, salad, burgers, pasta and wraps all freshly cooked to order and are ordered using the QR code on the table.
Every bar and snack bar has a QR code offering you the latest menu and is a great way to support the sustainability of the resort.
If you are looking for a more chilled snack bar, which is near the Boho bar and there you recieve fantastic service from Eren. Haci and Abdul, who treat all their guests as VIPs and they just couldn't do enough for everyone
Eren is particularly good at training new staff and mentoring them, he might be missing his vocation.
There is a good variety of drinks, especially cocktails and whilst the drinks are measured you can have as much or as little as you require, which is great if you don't fancy an extra strong drink, which is often.the case.
All drinks are served in glasses unless you are outside or by the pool for safety reasons unlike some all inclusive hotels who tend to serve drinks in plastic containers
Entertainment is good and mainly low key, mainly live groups and no animation acts that you usually see in resorts and definitely no bingo or karaoke.
The hotel does a lot for the environment and historical nature of the area and you can read all.about this on the notice boards by the restaurant
If you are lucky, you may even see a logger head turtle that occasionally frequent the beach in the evening, just before we arrived a huge turtle was wondering along the path and had to be reintroduced to the sea.
As with most turkish hotels there are quite a few cats around the place but they are well looked after and have their own feeding area and veterinary services.
There are plenty of seating areas and sunbeds everywhere and the beach is uncrowded with the sunbeds set well apart to provide you some privacy.
Overall a great resort even though it's remote and the buffet restaurant food is primarily turkish cuisine which was lovely and we would definitely consider coming again."
