Disneyland is 43 minutes from central Paris on the RER train, so it’s easy to combine a trip to see Mickey and friends with some city sightseeing.

If you want to make the most of the attractions at Disneyland Paris, you should plan for at least three full days. You'll need two days to see all five themed lands in Disneyland Park and a further day to take in the four extra action zones in the Walt Disney Studios Park. If you have children and you want to join in all the parades and shows, as well as spending some time relaxing by the pool, you can comfortably stay a week. You'll find plenty of restaurants and live entertainment in the evenings.
Take a look at the resort’s event calendar beforehand, as you may want to be there for Halloween or New Year’s Eve. Your choice will depend on your Disney tastes.
You don't need to grow out of Disney when you grow up, and you can enjoy the more thrilling aspects of the attractions at Disneyland Paris when you're not worrying about little ones. You'll probably have the means to stay in a resort hotel, which means you can be first in line for the high adrenalin roller coasters and the new Star Wars rides. In the evenings, you'll find bars and restaurants, live music and dancing. You can choose from 15 screens at the cinema, sing along to country and western or visit a late-night club.
The fireworks display is done daily in peak season, but can be limited to weekends at less busy times. Check ahead if the display is a must-see for you.
You can take your kids to Disneyland Paris at any age, and infants and toddlers under three go free. There are some miniature rides for tots, and you can get babysitting services and special meal plans. Children aged four to 10 will probably get the best out of the fairy-tale aspect of the park. Once they reach five or six, they're big enough to go on most rides and can sustain a longer day of activity, but they're still young enough to love the characters. Once they're a bit older, kids will probably focus more on the thrilling rides.
You'll probably find the cheapest season for a Disneyland Paris inclusive package is in the winter, from January to March. It's always going to be cheaper out of the school holidays, and more expensive at weekends, so ideally you should be going midweek in off-peak months when kids are at school. Since taking the kids is likely to be the main reason you'll be going, you should look at our budget holidays to Disneyland Paris during the school holidays. You should also make sure to book your park tickets in advance and take advantage of any promotions you can find.
You should go because it's the closest major attraction of its kind to the UK. You might not be able to make it to the United States and Disneyland Paris is rated higher by most visitors than Disney parks in Tokyo, Hong Kong or Shanghai. Disneyland Paris is affordable for a family visit and you can get there easily and quickly. It's a great destination for you and your family with fun and excitement for kids of all ages. Paris itself is not far away if you want to take a peek at the Eiffel Tower or the Louvre.
Disneyland Paris becomes more exotic at night when its landscapes are lit up to produce an even more magical environment. Most rides stay open after dark to around 8.30, and some of them are more exciting at this time. After you've had your thrills, you can stop for a meal and wait to see the fireworks. You could choose a dinner show, a film or try the various bars around the park. You can vary your theme, from live music and dancing to sports bars, and you can stay out late at the nightclub.
