"I stayed at Paxton Hotel Paris on the night of my birthday while attending an award ceremony at a nearby castle. The room was booked by the event organiser, and I was sharing it with another event attendee — a male colleague, not related or married. At check-in, we made it very clear that we needed a twin room, and we were informed that this came with an additional charge, which we agreed to pay. Reception staff assured us that the beds would be separated while we were away at the event around 4 p.m. When we returned around 1 a.m., the room was exactly as we had left it — the beds had not been split. When I complained, instead of taking responsibility or resolving the issue, the receptionist offered to move us to another room with a sofa bed. This was at 1 a.m., after a long evening, and was not an acceptable solution. The hotel sold and charged for a service they did not provide and did not even offer a refund the next day upon checkout. What should have been a special evening turned into a humiliating and frustrating experience. I had to share a bed with a male colleague on my birthday — the exact situation I paid extra to avoid. While the hotel facilities themselves are fine, the attitude and behaviour of the reception staff were shockingly unprofessional. They showed no accountability or concern for guest comfort. I would strongly caution other guests to get all room commitments confirmed in writing, as verbal promises mean nothing here."

"Location is great easy to get to Disneyland Lovely grounds tidy views were nice Room was brilliant sofa bed very uncomfortable but ok for few days only 2 members of staff were welcoming and lovely the rest made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable like i should not of been there they guy with the pony tail in bowling the member of staff was so rude to my husband he was more interested in his friends/ collegues than serving us my daughter was upset as we wanted to play bowling we had to leave as this member of staff was mocking my husband so it was time to leave and never went back so rude! Breakfast was lovely kids loved it not much for the hot breakfast but it was ok pool and facilities were lovely the restaurant lovely cleaners were so friendly they were outstanding ! Nothing too much trouble"
