"Basic hotel
Boring nothing to do, or very little even the animation team not doing activities day or night it seems.
Had to ask for some activities to be provided.
They organised a game of darts one day with one dart!!!
A game of French bowls the member of staff was smoking while playing.
Not everyone likes the smell of cigarette smoke.
Very unprofessional in front of guest
Blowing smoke towards them, or touching their personal belongings , even when asked to leave personal item alone.
They said they do a quiz at 9 pm,after kids disco except there was No kids in the hotel that night.
Easyjet rep said. If the easyjet rep didn't ask them to put on a activity nothing would of been on.
As other guest said there had been nothing on previous week.
Football was on the telly in bar area. Men weren't happy it was turnt off at 9.50pm
Eventually Activity started at 9.50pm they changed it to karaoke for a short while, but it was something. No quiz as they had said to easyjet rep
Had people sitting about from 9pm as they said in front of the easyjet rep it would start at 9pm
Started 9.50pm.
No poster, communication what if any activities are on for the day, week.
Think sometimes they make up activities on spur of the moment, if they have to do a activity.
You got one animation staff scream chicken wings out to guest, if he on something.
Music Can be loud booming by poolside most days.
So loud you don't want to sit there.
Food OK but everything is.cold, much the same most days. And having birds flying around restaurant leaving bird poo about is not very nice, or hygienic.
The tables, tablecloths can be a bit grubby, sticky at times.
And where the food is served very untidy messy, dirty
They don't even give you bottled water in your room To brush your teeth With or to take medication if your on half board, you to pay for basic water.
Even though you can't drink the tap water.
Half board you only get a drink at breakfast after that you to pay for it including bottled water.
I accept paying for soft drinks, coffee tea but water is disgraceful to pay for. Especially because your told don't drink tap water.
Water is just a basic requiremen. Not a luxury drink!
Prices at the bar seem to change every time you pay.
They seem to make up their own prices.
In december2025 you were given free bottled water in room and in public areas. This was changed for half board guest in January.
Hotel started to charge for water.
All inclusive get as much bottled water as they want.
Alot of holiday guests had been sold all inclusive to be told there no alcohol served, heard the hotel lost the licence and from the trouble from guest etc under the influence of drink.
Not sure which is true.
The hotel allows guest to bring in alcohol from supermarkets, drinking in public areas, bars which gets out of control and having many guest drunk causing fights. Hotel needs to address this, even if they say no drinking in public areas , no bottles of vodka, whiskey on public tables. Drinking only in the bedrooms etc or a certain place downstairs, like they have for smokers.
So hotel got some control over this.
Bar staff keep suppling coke, spirit to guest for their vodka, whiskey even b4 guest has asked for the soft drink or drank the soft drink in front of them.
Some guest had 3/4 soft drinks waiting to add to their vodka, whiskey at a time.
Staff was seen getting vodka/whiskey from guests.
The freedom to do this, buy as much drink daily was one reason why so many guest were drunk.
At the Tunisian celebrating day a man in his 60+++ was dancing at kids disco with kids. Wanting to be centre of attention all the time. Making it all about him.
He was drunk and was taking over the children time, disco, which is disgraceful.
It's in the name children's disco not a drunk old man taking over.
This did upset the Tunisian guest as there was No respect for them, or their children or their culture, especially on their special celebrating day .
English man should of been asked to leave kids disco. Drunk in front of the kids is not a good look for kids or from England.
He was the one who was shouting , fighting in corridor at 2 am disturbing everyone. No apology was given from him for this.
He was still allowed to stay in hotel.drinking after causing these problems.
Manager did come up to sort it out, thankfully eventually.
Went to snack bar to buy lunch one day with others on half board, chef there said we couldn't have anything as we were half board, we told him we are going to pay for something he refused to serve us.
Saw him shout at a Tunisian little girl where was her band, she only wanted a burger.
Her mum spoke up and said bands were upstairs in room
Little girl eventually got a burger, but there was no way to be treated like that.
As only child her mum were wanting food.
No one else wanted
Male staff speak down to you if your female and aren't very helpful.
Ask for help to get taxi he did get one but wasn't happy helping though there was No other guest wanting help.
Found you get more help , better deals if security at the gate gets you a taxi instead of reception.
One day there was a awful smell of diesel.in lift and on 3rd floor I didn't check other floors , said to reception so did other guests about how strong the smell was, to get a arrogant man saying I was the only one complaining about smell and there wasn't any smell, accused me of lying.
I was ill , headache being sick from the strong smell.
Smelt it on the day of departure too.
The housemaid work very hard to keep bedrooms, public areas, public toilets very clean .
Praise to them.
Beach is small and dirty.
Outside the security gates public path/Road is very dirty with rubbish all over the place. Like a rubbish tip.
There is nothing open , no shops, cafe etc you need to go To. Sousse for shops cafe etc
Alot of guests were swapping hotels as no drink when they were sold all inclusive holidays. And no entertainment, good communication to guests.
Tbh wish I had swapped hotel , but the person I was with wasn't well.enough to do so.
So did stay and it got worse through the week.
Power station very close by.
Had a view of the carpark and power station.
At night the power station all lit up , can be too bright as light gets through curtains at places.
I wouldn't come back to the blue beach from the points above. This is a honest review and if I had seen.a review like this , I would of changed my hotel.
It could be a good hotel with a captive audience spending their money at hotel , as its away from everything.
The main positive thing is How Clean the Housemaids keep bedrooms and public areas clean. Work very hard.
The rest of the departments need a good shake up to provide good service.
3 star at the most for this hotel."
