"Just returned from our 3rd year in a row trip to this hotel - that in its self says it all! As I never return to the same place twice! But after coming here for the first time in 2024, we have been each year since. I went with my kids what are now age 8 and 4, and my mam. We stayed 19th May - 30th May.
This year we stayed in a 1 bed apartment as unfortunately no 2 beds available. The living room has 2 separate single beds which you can put together if you wish, there was still enough space for us all. Rooms not ultra modern, but so clean. A small kitchenette with kettle / toaster / fridge. The rooms are cleaned most days by the maids too with fresh beds and towels. As returning guests we were lucky enough to be given a room with a huge balcony which was lovely - thank you.
It’s hard to fault this hotel for the price. All staff work so hard, and it’s soo clean, everywhere. Pool area is great, no matter what time you go to the pool you will get a sunbed, ok it might not be where you want, but there’s always beds. Splash pool great for younger kids. Main pool, lovely. On a Saturday the entertainment team put up a big blow up slide and mat for some pool side fun! Numerous activities in the pool throughout the week, aqua aerobics / water polo. But plenty of time with no activities aswell. The main pool cool on a morning, but it was 30 degrees most days the week just gone so it soon got like a nice warm bath by lunch time.
We were bed and breakfast this year, so much choice. All types of eggs, pancakes, all freshly made - not sure how they keep on top. Of course it gets a bit manic in the dining area, but it’s a busy hotel, school holidays so what do you expect? Considering the business of the place they keep everything stocked up so well. Lots of lovely fruit, yoghurts, cereals, toast, fresh bread rolls, cold meats, cakes, pastries etc…. Can’t fault it.
Kids disco is 20:15 on an evening then another show at 21.00, good variety, parrot shows, magicians, dancers, singers. Not west end standard for a hotel you can’t complain and all shows kept the kids entertained. Brilliant! I would like to say a special thank you to Samuel, for keeping my self and my mums wine topped up each evening (x1 white and x1 red Samuel) for the entertainment. We are so sorry we didn’t get to say bye, please pass on our thanks to him, we were going to tip him but didn’t see him again. Our kids loved him!! Lovely man.
The hotel is completely central to everything. Sa Coma is a quietish resort. But shops, restaurants and the beach on the door step. Little train available outside Burger King to go to other resorts which is worth doing if you want to venture out. Taxi rank also right outside of the hotel.
Can’t fault this hotel for the price. Don’t hesitate if you have young children I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!!
My friend who lives in the middle east is having a holiday to Europe in July and has booked this hotel from my reccomendation and because they had the 2 bed room they needed - I am certain they won’t be disappointed!!
Thank you so much to you all at Hipotel, keep up your amazing work
We had room 333 and loved it :-)"
