"We stayed at this hotel for six nights and, unfortunately, our experience was a mixed one.
I would like to start with the positive aspects. Without a doubt, the hotel’s greatest advantage is its location. It is situated directly on a beautiful, wide sandy beach. We stayed in a spacious apartment with a large balcony overlooking the sea, and the view was absolutely wonderful.
Another major plus is the staff working on the hotel’s terrace. Everyone we interacted with was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Their kindness and positive attitude often helped make up for some of the disappointments we experienced elsewhere in the hotel.
We only had breakfast included in our stay, so my comments refer exclusively to breakfast. The selection was varied and plentiful, with something for every taste. However, if the fruit ran out, it was simply not replenished. A nice touch is that on Sundays guests are welcomed with a glass of champagne at breakfast.
Unfortunately, the tableware required much more attention. Coffee cups, glasses, and teaspoons had to be chosen carefully because many of them had clearly not been washed properly and still had visible stains.
Our apartment included a kitchenette equipped with plates, glasses, cups, cutlery, and a coffee maker. Unfortunately, when we arrived and checked the coffee maker, we found moldy coffee grounds left in the filter compartment from previous guests. In addition, despite being a four-star hotel, no complimentary coffee is provided in the room—you have to buy it yourself.
Unfortunately, the negative aspects were numerous.
The bathroom amenities were disappointing for a four-star hotel. There were no shower caps or vanity kits. Although our reservation was for three adults, the room was equipped with only two bathrobes and two pairs of slippers. We reported this at reception, but nothing was done to resolve the issue.
Another small but noticeable detail was the complete absence of a pen and notepad in the room—something that is commonly provided in many four-star hotels.
The swimming pool is quite small considering the size of the hotel. Unless you arrived very early in the morning, it was almost impossible to find an available sunbed. Many guests would leave their towels on the loungers to reserve them and would not return until the afternoon, with no intervention from the hotel staff.
Another major disappointment was the towel service at the pool. During our six-day stay, we were not able to exchange our pool towels even once. Towel exchanges were allowed only on specific days, and when we went on one of those days, we were told that there were no clean towels available.
There was always sand at the bottom of the swimming pool, and we also found sand throughout our apartment, giving us the impression that the daily cleaning was not very thorough. On the positive side, the bed linen and bathroom towels were always clean.
The hotel is clearly showing its age and is in need of significant investment and renovation. Our apartment had two rooms, but the second bedroom had no window and could not be ventilated. It felt like being in a small enclosed box. The humidity was very high, and the clothes stored there developed a damp, musty smell.
Overall, I do not believe this hotel meets the standards expected of a four-star property. Its beachfront location is excellent, and the terrace staff deserve special recognition for their professionalism and kindness. Unfortunately, the lack of investment, poor maintenance, and services that fall below four-star expectations overshadowed what could have been a much more enjoyable stay.
For me, this is not an experience I would repeat, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel to other travelers."
