Victoria 4 Puerta del Sol

"3 people in a room, a drama! The 3rd bed is bizarrely bad, and complaining is pointless, there is no manager on the weekend. At the reception, they said, "Post a bad review, hopefully something will change then" (so I'm not the only one). Very bad, apparently you are not worth much to them on the weekend. They are not responding to a complaint via email either, you are apparently completely worthless! Breakfast is moderate, not even a cooked egg. The room has some points of concern. And you like kebab, next to it there is 1 and the windows are open, in short the whole hotel smells of it."

"Location good but the front desk customer service in morning staff need training. Very rude and unprofessional. Was second time there but no more. Madrid provide better places to with better rate and better customer service."

"Just had the most amazing stay at this hotel. It's in an excellent location right in the centre of Madrid. Close to everything, plenty of places to eat nearby and easy to get around either by metro, bus or walking. The hotel room is of a high standard, spacious rooms, lovely bathroom and comfortable beds. If I could improve anything about the room it would be to have easier access to sockets to charge phones as they were quite low down. Cleanliness of hotel was excellent. Staff at reception were very friendly especially the gentleman in the evening who helped us with taxis and telling us how to work the metro. Some reviews I noticed mention its very noisy at night due to location but we didn't notice it particularly once closing balcony doors and some noise is to be expected if you stay right in the city centre of anywhere and Personally I would choose location every time. 10/10 stay already planning to stay again to watch the football."
