"We found this hotel to be in an excellent location for a quiet beach holiday with a short taxi drive to the vibrant Ibiza old town and the port with all the super yachts or a short walk to the marina with more beautiful yachts. The hotel is on the beach and provides 20 sun beds with 10 parasols for hotel guests, it feels like a private beach. There is a jetty at the side of the beach where you can get a water taxi to the port, alternatively there is a taxi rank just round the corner. All around the bay is a board walk which is well lit and there are many bars serving food and drinks. There are no shops but some of the bars have bijou boutiques. For essential supplies there is a supermarket just across the road selling all the usual items and typical beach items e.g inflatables, buckets and spades, parasols etc..
we stayed on a half board basis but most guests seem to eat elsewhere as there is plenty of choice. The breakfast is typical of a 4* hotel in the Balearics, the food for dinner was a buffet, nothing special, starters, mains and desserts but the main choices were always a vegetarian option, a meat option, a fish option and something else, some quite tasty, all acceptable.
The room was spacious enough, the bathroom had a bath and shower, the beds were comfortable and the balcony had a drying rack for damp swimwear. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping it all scrupulously clean. The hotel provided clean towels for the beach every day for €20 deposit; great saving on taking your own.
The whole hotel was very clean from reception to the pool area and the pool/beach area was well looked after by a charming young man who went above and beyond to help hotel guests. He was out early every morning putting the sun beds out and cleaning the beach. As an early riser I was frequently first down and he knew we smoked so would go and fetch an ashtray for me. He promised to learn English for me for next year. A lot of people are returning visitors and more than one of the staff said about seeing us next year as they obviously love their hotel and can’t imagine anyone not wanting to return.
Most of the guests were Spanish with a few other nationalities. Some young families enjoyed both the beach and the pool area. There was a mix of mature couples, families and a few younger people (who we only saw leaving, all dolled up for nights out).
The bar is lovely and cool during the day, although it is closed during the day you can get what you want from the pool bar and then sit in to enjoy the air conditioning. There is a terrace outside the bar where you can sit and watch the yachts and the late night swimmers.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful most spoke excellent English. One of the barmen/waiters was exceptionally kind and he obviously has a vocation. I don’t want to embarrass him by naming him but he’s from Sevilla. He spoke about other guests he had met in the warmest manner, was always cheerful and remembered our names and what we liked. He made us feel special.
Will we go there again,? Undoubtably."
