"Along with my family, I have stayed in this hotel for a week. Here is everything needed to know before staying in this hotel:
POSITIVES:
-THE STAFF: exceptional. So friendly, generous, always smiling, will help you with any problem and really does everything to make guests feel welcome in the hotel. Everyone from the cleaniny ladies to receptionists was so polite and nice. I would like to especially thank Elisa (hopefully spelt it right) from the kitchen for providing tips on what food to try:)
-POOL AND BEACH: the hotel offers 2 pools, 1 jacuzzi, 1 kids pool and a beautiful promenade along the sandy beach with pier over the ocean where you can watch crabs. For those looking for it, there is also a nude section at one side.
-LOCATION: right next to the city of Caleta de Fuste. Everything is in close proximity - medical center, Atlantico shopping center (like 200 meters from the hotel), another hotels, souvenir shops, nice walks, airport (around 10 minutes drive)...
-DRINKS AND BEVERAGES: fresh juices right from the squeezed fruits, great coffee, hot chocolate and a pleasant variety of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
-EQUIPMENT: hotel shop, gym, very fast elevators, luggage room, pool bar with snacks...
-ENTERTAINMENT: lots of options both on and off the shore (like aquagym, water polo, gymnastics...). Also, the hotel has its own cat named Miguel and for sure, he is a great attraction ;)
SOMEWHERE IN THE MIDDLE:
-FOOD: the kitchen offers AMAZING breakfast, in fact, I do not think there is anything needed to improve there. It also offers theme dinners nearly every evening. However, it sometimes lacked variety of options (there are usually about 10 different dishes) and if you do not like some kind of cuisine, there is a possibility you won't find anything during certain course.
-CLEANING SERVICES: the cleaning ladies were super nice, but sometimes, they forgot to chance towels or put things to some places of questionable choice (like putting flip-flops on a luggage or pillow on a table)
-ROOMS: comfortable beds, pleasant balcony, alright bathroom, room itself is okay, TV with maybe 10 properly working programs is not a huge problem itself, but there are definitely some renovations necessary (certain pieces of furniture or shower mechanism).
-A LOTS OF AIRPLANES: for us, it was extraordinary, we enjoy the presence of planes and it was a nice addition to the stay, but for some people, it may be limiting, that is why I'm mentioning it here.
NEGATIVES:
-MISSING A/C EVERYWHERE EXCEPT OF ROOM: only place in the hotel where you can find working air conditioning is your room. Its not that big of a problem when you do not need to spend a time outside of your room, but if you need to wait for a few hours after check out for your flight and there is not a single one working in hotels spaces, it may be really uncomfortable. I really appreciated the receptionists, who offered us a courtesy room for half an hour to wait in, but inside of it, it was even hotter, more humid and the A/C was not working there as well.
-WI-FI: the signal here is nearly non-existent. There is a free connection throughout entire hotel, but it was working properly for about 2 hours during the whole week. Strongly suggesting obtaining mobile data beforehands.
-BEACH TOWELS: once you get the beach and pool towels, it is immensely hard to change them, as that is the job of the pool guard that is there for maybe an hour a day. Also, it is really hard to find sunbeds, as all are usually occupied at around 9 am already
Overall, the stay was very pleasant. The hotel has things that need improvement, but it is definitely a solid alternative for a place to stay on the island. Of course, it also matters for what price it is offered and what do you want to see and do on the island, but if you are searching for a place to rest witht the close proximity to shopping and nice walks, this is a very good contender.
I would like to wish everyone at the hotel all the best and thank you for the stay, created a lot of memories here :)"
