Blue Sea Dimona Suites

"Where do I start?! Arrived late evening to find our room boiling hot with the air con not working, no balcony in our room, went to reception to rectify this issue to find they were very rude and abrupt and to be informed that a standard room doesn’t come with a balcony ( please be aware on EasyJet and Jet2 websites that it doesn’t state this and a standard room at this hotel is classed as economy). Never in my 41 years of my life have I never had a balcony when on holiday! The receptionist on the Friday night was very rude and when we got there advised to come back on Sunday to change rooms which we did and were advised they were fully booked ( there were rooms available) . Cleaning staff were very friendly but only cleaned every 2 days we were there a week and the bed linen wasn’t changed!!!!. The suites were located in the opposite end of the hotel we did 6000 steps in the first night to get keys and things!!! Food was bland but plenty of it. Only thing that was good about it was the location which was 10 mins walk from shops and restaurants and the beach."

"The suites are part of the Al Andalus Hotel and do not have their own reception, which is not very convenient. The suites are very noisy because half of them (Nos. 1–14) face a busy street with heavy traffic. The building forms one side of the stage area used for the hotel's evening entertainment. There is no soundproofing; the doors do not fit properly and let in both noise and light. The suites are large and bright, but a bit worn. The shower enclosure wasn't watertight; water was leaking. What we really didn´t like was that we have never encountered such unhelpful and rude staff. Our rental car was damaged during our stay. The staff didn't want to deal with the issue at all; at first, they openly lied to us, claiming the parking space next to ours wasn't occupied, and when we showed them a photo of the parked car, they just smiled and changed the subject. The next morning, a car belonging to someone else blocked our parking lot exit. The staff at first told us to sort it out ourselves—to go around to the rooms, find out who was blocking us, and presumably yell at them or something. Then they placed a notice on the obstructing car stating that it was parked illegally and that was it. The matter resolved itself in the evening when the car left. We lost the cost of the daily car rental and the parking fee, and we were unable to go on the trip we had planned. The staff were very rude. When we asked how they would handle the situation if we needed to leave for the airport, the receptionist laughed at us, suggesting we rent another car or simply take a taxi ( And we probably should have just left our rental car there and paid the rental agency its value.). In the end, the head receptionist promised us a refund for one day's parking, but of course, no one actually paid us. So, it is better to use the public underground parking garage 10 meters away. The food is average; the dishes weren't very well seasoned, and many of them were highly processed supermarket products (including all the desserts). All in all, Dimona Suites are not as advertised, and we certainly wouldn't choose them again. There are many other accommodation options in Torremolinos at similar prices."

"We stayed room 19 room was huge and very spacious big terrace ! Cleaners were lovley so pleasant we faced the garden which i requested was disappointing so unkept not like the pictures 2 sunbeds in the garden a few metal chairs so hard cant sit on them could be a lovley area if looked after ! Air conditioning in the room was a added bonus considering how hot July is overall had a pleasant stay wouldn't return due to the area but cant fault anything else ! You check in at hotel next door which should be stated on your booking"
