The OrienteAtriam Hotel, Barcelona.
"The Oriente Atiram Hotel is a lovely hotel in an excellent location close to all amenities and transport. It has a beautiful lobby and the breakfast area was lovely under the glass dome. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice from cooked to european platter, they also catered for my coeliac/gluten free partner with different types of gluten free croissants and breads. The room was a superior room with balcony onto the street, it was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately las Ramblas is being renovated and work goes on all day, traffic flows only in one direction, this didn't bother us as it is what it is. The only downside was the rumbling/vibrations from the metro at around 5.30am onwards. We were in room 115 (first floor) not sure if other rooms were the same or rooms on different floors. All in all it was a wonderful experience staying at the Oriente Atriam Hotel, all the staff were wonderful, food was good and a great location."
Great location but noisy and needs refreshing
"A very grand lobby/reception area, although needs refreshing in places. However the rooms are not at all soundproof. Found it impossible to get a good night’s sleep but obviously was in part due to very inconsiderate guests. I haver never experienced such noise in a hotel before. The rooms seemed very basic also with hard mattresses. The staff though were very helpful and did act quickly when we complained about noise late at night. It was also a shame that La Rambla is currently being redone so no charm - but no fault of hotel. Would be good to have notice when booking however…"
Hola , Oriente Atiram Hotel. Thank you for your hospitality .
"Hola, Atiram Orient Barcelona. This hotel is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Barcelona. The hotel is perfectly located, with easy access to all major attractions, excellent public transportation right next door, and countless shops and restaurants offering authentic local cuisine. Barcelona itself is a stunning city with a vibrant Mediterranean character. The people are generally warm and welcoming, although those who do not speak English may seem a bit more reserved at first. Overall, the atmosphere is lively, relaxed, and full of culture. The rooms were spotlessly clean, with the option of daily towel changes if desired. They were well equipped with a kettle, which was a thoughtful touch for enjoying tea after a long day of exploring the city. The hotel remained impressively quiet throughout our stay and offered a lovely view over the city. Breakfast was truly outstanding — a generous buffet with both local specialties and an American-style brunch selection, not just a basic continental breakfast. It was filling enough to keep us energized for sightseeing until the afternoon tapas. The only minor drawback was that La Rambla was under construction during our stay. However, this did not affect the comfort or tranquility of the hotel in any way. Overall, the hotel felt warm in every sense of the word — comfortable, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant. Highly recommended for a memorable stay in Barcelona."
