"Balcony room with view of Las Ramblas, changed to a balcony room looking over a side street after the first night due to construction works on Las Ramblas. It would be worth checking when these works finish as the hotel is lovely just a little noisy currently.
Both rooms were well appointed and comfy. The bed in the room was made each day but the tea/coffee/milk was not replenished during our 4 night stay infact we had to ask for cups. Interestingly the sink/bath and bidet did not have plugs?? These are kept at reception??
We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis. Breakfast is self service. The coffee machines are best given a miss. The coffee is over sugary and uses powdered milk. There are Nescafe sachets provided as well but again probably worth giving a miss. We bought coffee out.
The breakfast food offering itself is good. There is a hot buffet which includes eggs, beans, bacon, focacci. A cold breakfast of yoghurt, cold meats, cheeses, vegetables.
There are also breads and rolls.
The hotel is exceptionally clean, full of character and the staff are friendly."
