"My Wife and I stayed at this hotel for eight days from June 22nd 2026. The board basis was breakfast only as this is the only one available. The hotel is situated half way up a hill from the Town Centre which is about a 10 minute walk in the hot weather. Our room had a pool view on the first floor, double bed, en suite, air conditioned and just a few stairs or a one floor lift down to reception, the bar and restaurant. The hotel itself was clean, fairly modern, open with nice drafts to cool the place and a large reception/lounge area. The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful and looked smartly dressed. The Manager gave us a short verbal tour of the hotel while reception set up the admin for us which was a nice touch and he was often to be seen in and around the hotel. The room has a safety deposit box and the key can be obtained from reception for a 20 Euro deposit, the final cost for eight days was 23 Euro's. There is a small tourist tax payable on arrival. If you wish to run a tab for the bar and any other hotel purchases, that can be arranged with reception. The only downside we found is where these hotels tend to have tiled floors throughout, you can get noisy neighbours who like to move furniture around at 2am, clonk around in high heals and can be noisy returning to the hotel after a night out, clambering up the stairs and generally making a noise but that didn't happen too often thankfully, no substitute for good manners. There were no groups of Men and Women on stag do's or anything like that, just mainly groups of couples of various age groups. The pool was lovely, ideal in the hot weather of June, plenty of sunbeds to be had, there are no parasols however, we used the foliage from the palm tree's to take the shade and the sunbeds have a pull over cover where you can protect your head and upper body, strange but worked. The bar was very good, excellent staff. Pay as you go or run a tab, use your card or if cash, which they don't handle, there is a machine built into the bar where you enter the cash and receive change, according to the bill. The pool was never really busy just people cooling off and if you wish you can sit on underwater bar stools and have a nice glass of something chilled. As the hotel is just B & B with no real facilities for children, there was only one child present during our stay so it was almost like an adult only hotel which we rather enjoy. On transfers, we didn't bother with the arranged coach as the drop off time was quite long so we opted for a private hire taxi which cost 43 Euro's one way, ideal. There are plenty of Uber cabs to be had for local travel and easily booked. Most people speak good English. Breakfast was excellent, a full Continental breakfast with eggs done in various ways, bacon and sausages, cold meats, fruit, plenty of everything and very well presented. If you are flying back really early and cannot have your last breakfast, ask reception and they will organise a bag meal for you of a sandwich, fruit and bottle of water. The location is great, just walk out of the hotel turn left or right and you have all you need. Walk right and down the hill to the Town centre and there are a very large selection of shops bars and restaurants, plenty to choose from, some might need booking but most are just walk in, at night int he square by the beach there is often a band playing and its very vibrant although still not crazy. Take advantage of the cave trips in the boats from the beach, an excellent experience. We did not use the beach as the sunbeds there were hired at around 30 Euro's for half a day which we thought was very over priced, many people just took their own things like towels and shade from the Sun. There are a good few local supermarkets to stock up from and you have a fridge/cooler in the room. Plenty of pharmacies also around if you need one. A very relaxing and pleasant stay."
