Corendon Urban Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Hotel

"We visited Amsterdam in May. The prices in the center are absurd. If you want to stay in a hostel with a shared bathroom, prepare to pay 120 euros a night. That was not our case. We decided to stay at this hotel that has free service from the airport. From the hotel to the airport you have to pay 5 euros per person. They gave us a room in the annex building. It seemed more like an apartment. One of the best places we have stayed. When checking into the hotel, they charge your card 50 euros per night. They should mention this point. They apply VAT to that amount. In our case, it was 37 euros for the nights we stayed. When they returned the deposit, they only did so for the 50 euros per night. They kept the VAT. No matter how much I complained to them and tried to get Trivago to give me an explanation, it was not possible. I would not stay at this hotel again. I would look for another option closer to the city that would allow me to walk to the center."

"Location is kind of good, but there are closer and easier hotels, we booked dinner at the roof top restaurant Mondi, service was atrocious, took ages to take order, clear plates, even acknowledge. When we asked for desert we were told kitchen was closed, if you added all the time we were waiting, there would have been time. Other people were still being served. Plane in the gardens is fun, room was nice and so was pool area, had it to ourselves. Just be careful, we had a charge to our credit card AFTER we had left and were at the airport, I didn't realise until we returned off holiday for about 56 euro, we have messaged the hotel on numerous occasions and no one has replied, we paid in full for everything and got a receipt. Money was taken after this for no reason. Wouldn't stay again."

"Very convenient for its proximity to the airport. Fairly comfortable and spacious room. Large lobby and varied buffet for breakfast and dinner. On the other hand, the wellness area is free and therefore... don't go there. The pool is dirty. The surrounding area was full of cans and trash. Just gross. The only downside to the hotel... which in itself remains a transit hotel."
