"We stayed from the Monday to the Friday. Location excellent, central and near lots of great places to eat and attractions. There was some noise however nothing that wouldn’t be expected staying in a busy city. Hotel had a Lovely friendly atmosphere, staff very helpful. Bar was great. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Hotel Restaurant fantastic. Very reasonably priced and excellent food, menu and service. Was packed right through lunch and dinner every day and evening. We were unable to book our evening meals. Just by luck we waited in the queue and got a walk in. It would be ideal if people staying in the hotel had priority to book tables for meals. Excellent buffet breakfast! Something for everyone. We booked 2 cosy twin rooms for our family. Rooms were on the smaller side however had everything required. Both rooms were clean. And were cleaned daily. Though did run out of toilet roll on the 4th day. It would have been nice if this had been topped up as it was running down. I had issue with the bed. Mattress topper on leather bed which meant it kept sliding off! Every time I got off the bed it slid off the side. I also woke with back ache every morning. Using a mattress topper as the mattress was not ideal. Investing in some decent mattresses would definitely be worthwhile. All in all a very good hotel."

"The location is the only good thing about this hotel. Purchased double twin standard room. When we arrived we were given a room that was tiny and claustrophobic. It had sloped ceiling and two small windows that did not open. You could hardly walk around the bed without hitting your head on the beams. Made a complaint and was moved to another tiny room with double bed and a single window, no sloped ceiling. For 3 nights paid over £700 including the local taxes. The pictures of the rooms are misleading. I would not recommend this hotel."

"Location is A+. I walked everywhere! Melly's across the street was a great light breakfast option, and there are tons of restaurants within an easy walk. The bathroom, tho small, was brand new and very clean. The bedding was clean/smelled fresh! The room was a bit small, but had all modern amenities. The lighting was dim...needs better lights on both sides of the bed. At night, there was some noise from the alleyway - but hey, it's a city! And...this is an older hotel, so the hallways are narrow, elevators small, and the rooms aren't white and modern. But I felt super safe there, on my own. My room was cleaned daily, and desk staff were very helpful."
