Diocletian Hotel

"We had a room booking error with this hotel. We tried to resolve the issue with the hotel management via several emails ( no response ) and multiple visits to the front reception to speak to the manager. Of course the manager was never available to speak with us. After several months of our travel agent trying to intervene for us, the hotel refused any compensation or refund. They told lies about actions and conversations that my husband and I apparently had with their staff. I would never recommend this hotel. If you have any kind of customer relation issues they have dishonest principles and lie to justify their greed. I can’t overlook the small rooms now and the noisy courtyard that is adjacent to the hotel nor the bugs and flies that were present on the breakfast buffet."

"Bathroom has huge basin, but no place to put your soap. Same with gigantic jetted tub. No instruction how to turn it on, the hotel has many amenities, but needs to improve showing them to the guest. Walk guest to room and show how to use everything would make a huge difference. Nothing special about the breakfast, and coffee from a machine."

"Not only because it is in the middle of the Diocletian Palace, few steps away from Jupiter’s Temple, but because it has all this charm in itself with all the commodities of this days. Beautiful rooms. Only problem is a very small and slow elevator but manageable. Best of all the front desk employees. Not only very helpful and always eager do the extra thing, but always with a sincere smile (not very common in this area). With no doubt this is a hotel I will love to stay in again."
