The location is outstanding. It is an easy 13 minute walk to St. Mark’s Square, yet tucked into a quieter area that feels local and relaxed. Being directly on the Grand Canal is a major highlight. The views are beautiful at all times of day and add a sense of magic that you simply cannot replicate elsewhere. Everything in Venice felt walkable from this spot, which made exploring effortless.
Travel logistics were simple and convenient. We arrived via private water taxi, which was a fantastic way to start the trip, and the public water bus stop is only about a five minute walk away. Getting around could not have been easier.
We needed a room that could comfortably accommodate four people, and this hotel absolutely delivered. The space worked well for our family, which is not always easy to find in Venice. We stayed on the third floor and while there is no elevator, it was completely manageable. The staff immediately offered to help with our bags, which was genuinely appreciated and speaks to their hospitality.
Breakfast was a classic European spread and exceeded expectations. Even the kids enjoyed it, which is always a win when traveling as a family. It was a great way to start the day before heading out to explore the city.
The building itself is older, and that is exactly what makes it special. It feels historic, charming, and perfectly in tune with Venice. There is also a bar on site, which was a nice bonus for winding down in the evening.
