Conrad Chia Laguna Sardinia

"This was my fourth time at the Conrad and, with great regret, I really believe it will also be the last. It is a real shame, because the property would have significant potential, but today, in my opinion, it is far from the standards one would expect from a true 5-star hotel. The property now appears dated and would certainly need a major renovation. Even more disappointing was noting the decline in the dining, which in the past represented one of the true strengths of the Conrad. In particular, I remember the Le Terrazze restaurant, where one ate truly divinely! This time, however, I found the quality of the cuisine decidedly mediocre. The Sa Mesa restaurant and the restaurant adjacent to the beach, Le Dune, represent a positive note instead: the quality of the dishes was very good and the staff attentive. The rooms are dated and, unfortunately, the cleanliness was also absolutely not adequate. So much so that in one week we had to go to the reception to follow up. In a property of this level and with certain prices, one expects much more care, especially in the details and in the cleanliness. The beach certainly remains a strong point and is very beautiful. However, even here there was no lack of critical issues: dirty sun loungers and neglected management of the beach. I sincerely hope that the new management can intervene in a concrete way, because the property would have all the potential to return to being an excellence. During my stay, I also had the opportunity to speak with other Italian guests, who encountered and complained about the same shortcomings. Although I expressed my disappointment at the time of check-out, my report did not receive any concrete attention, leaving me with the feeling of substantial indifference on the part of the establishment."

"We stayed at the Conrad for a few days and had a wonderful time. A property within a resort nestled in nature on the side of a hill, from which it is possible to admire the spectacle of a lagoon populated by pink flamingos with the blue sea of Sardinia as a backdrop. An environment where you can breathe elegance and informality, where the staff's attention to guests makes everything simpler, more beautiful, and more pleasant, starting with the morning buffet breakfast, served on a large terrace. The resort's restaurants allow you to savor Sardinian cuisine, pizzas, sushi... in short, there is something for every taste. The two beaches available to guests are two real pearls, where relaxation and crystal-clear sea are two constants. The pools are another strong point of the Conrad. I want to give a special mention to Ismaele, the twenty-year-old guy who welcomed us every day at the pool, always generous with attention and useful advice, whose professionalism deserves praise, like that of all the Conrad staff."
