"The check in experience was poor, as only one receptionist was checking in clients, while their was a long line of people. Other than checking in, the hotel was great. Breakfast was good as was maid service. The complimentary mini bar is a nice touch."

"This hotel is overpriced, dated, and nothing even close to what it advertises. First, the location is on a noisy street and you’re a minimum of 30-min walk to any key sites. Second, the rooms are dingy and dated, with stained and smelly carpet. The air conditioning did not work. What was worse was that we found tweezers left behind by the cleaning crew— meaning they were using our bathroom for personal use on our absence. Breakfast was fine, and plentiful. Fresh fruits, but stale eggs. The service was inconsistent. The front desk didn’t tell us about the marathon that was happening on the day we were leaving - and road closures leaving us scrambling. To top it off, they added a forced hotel tip starting at 15% of total stay! There are far better options for this price in Rome."

"Booked this hotel on its reputation, was centrally located to the sights we wanted to visit. The room was $800 a nite for 6 nites, which was a little expensive but we booked anyway. The room was smaller than the cheapest cruise ship cabin, with no view It was cramped to say the least and I cannot recommend it for the most Lilliputian of guests, luckily we travel light so fitting luggage in was not a problem, but there was literally no place for two open suitcases, almost comical. I dont know how they get away with this."
