"I don't usually write reviews but i felt it was extremely necessary given how wonderful our holiday was. If you are a family, like us, unsure whether to book this hotel please keep reading. I booked the Skopelos Summer homes as we are a family of 5 (12yr old girl, 9 yr old girl & 7yr old boy) so needed to find something affordable. This three star complex looked great so we booked a package through Jet2. When we arrived we got so much more than we bargained for. Firstly, the hotel staff are super friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and nothing was too much trouble. Secondly, we were able to use the 5 star facilities of the Skopelos village hotel - which is basically the same complex. Not once were we made to feel out of place for using the other two pools, bar and restaurant. The summer homes are just through a gate but like i said it is all one. You do not feel like you are staying somewhere separate. The bar and restaurant staff were also friendly and helpful and always happy to answer any questions we had. Definitely book into the restaurant for the Greek dancing evening, the Mamma Mia evening was ok, it was basically just a quiz and karaoke but worth doing. The island is lovely and has lots to offer, we did the Mamma Mia coach tour which starts at 9am and finishes at 3pm. It was really good and worth doing, you visit the white chapel first and then onto the beaches where they filmed Honey-Honey and Lay your love on me. Me and my two girls loved it! Even my hubby and 7 year old son enjoyed the day. Lots to explore and lots of swimming in the sea. Skopelos Town is a short walk from the Summer Homes, it's a lovely walk and there are so many bars and restaurants to choose from. Definitely head to the Donkey Bar which is at the end of the port above the white church (yes another white church). Keep going up the steps and you'll come across the bar which has the most stunning views! My only criticism is the actual house we were staying in could have had a bit more kitchen equipment. There was no dish drainer for after you'd washed your dishes and no cutting boards. We only had breakfast in the house/apartment but it became quite annoying after a few days. That would be my only niggle. No ironing board but as soon as i asked the cleaner dropped one off :-) We are so sad to be home and cannot wait to return! I hope it remains unspoiled. "We stayed at the Skopelos Hotel Summer Homes in a ground floor apartment. The hotel & grounds are beautiful with an amazing pool & facilities. It has a lovely restaurant looking out over Skopelos Bay and serves great quality food and drinks. We attended the Greek night and the Mamma Mia night held at the restaurant, which were both really entertaining and great fun. The staff are wonderful, so helpful and friendly they couldn't do enough to make your stay enjoyable. The apartment was very well furnished with a lovely walk-in shower, lounge, and kitchen, with a good-sized bedroom, all fully air-conditioned . It is a 10-15 minute walk along the bay into town, with the best restaurants along the bay. The town is amazing & buzzing lots to see and do with great restaurants and shops. We would definitely reccomend both Skopelos town and the beautiful summer homes Hotel for an unforgettable holiday. "
