"Right, here’s a proper, relevant review.
The hotel is around 30–45 minutes from the airport. We booked with Jet2, but because we were the first drop-off we grabbed a taxi instead. It cost around €40–50. Taxis take both cash and card. No Uber*
There’s not loads to do immediately outside the hotel, (in noticed maybe 2/3 restaurants witching walking distance but there’s a bus stop just outside. It’s only €2.50 each way into Rhodes Old Town (around a 30-40 minute journey), which we did, and it was absolutely banging. Well worth a visit. Pretty busy - touristy with plenty trying to get you into their cafe/Restaurant :/
We stayed in a swim-up room, which was great. It still felt fairly new. The room wasn’t huge, but it was nicely laid out and had plenty of space for the two of us. The shower pressure deserves a special mention – genuinely outstanding. Towels were only changed twice out of the 5 days there.
There are only two bars: one by reception (random?) and one by the pool. The hotel is built on what appears to be an old olive tree farm? So there are olive trees everywhere, nice setting.
Loads of sunbeds and plenty of space, with lawns throughout the grounds. No need for the usual early-morning towel dash – there were always sunbeds available (not cushioned) There are also several pools of different shapes and sizes rather than just one standard pool, which is a really nice design touch. There's a token for towels which you can change every 3 days?
There’s no table service around the pool. You collect your own drinks in decent reusable plastic cups. The drinks selection is good rather than exceptional, but there was plenty of choice. Local beer was ok, with soft drinks, wine and spirits all self-service in the restaurant (soft drinks only at the pool bar) The pool bar area has excellent lunch time meals and snacks
Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice, including healthy options, and everything was constantly topped up. Evening meals were good too, although we ate out a couple of nights. Personally, I thought breakfast was the stronger of the two.
Entertainment is very low-key. There only seemed to be music around the pool bar, which didn’t bother me as I had my headphones in anyway. There’s no animation team, which I actually preferred. It’s an adults-only hotel – I don’t need someone trying to get me to play darts or dance around the pool!
The spa team came around a couple of times offering massages, but we didn’t use them so can’t comment on prices.
The hotel staff were always happy to call taxis for you. They ask you to pay the tourist tax when you arrive and prefer card payments, although they do accept cash. Plenty of parking .
The hotel is only around two years old. Yes, there are a few little finishing touches that I’d probably have questioned if I were a 'building inspector', but overall it’s clean, tidy and well maintained. Every member of staff we dealt with was friendly and efficient.
There’s also a slightly “off-piste” walk to the nearby beach. The beach itself is fairly quiet and your typical Greek beach. It’s a little rough around the edges, but it has a nice, relaxed atmosphere.
We also visited Faliraki by taxi, which was around €18–22 each way (10/15 mins) Plenty of bars, restaurants and shops, and prices weren’t too bad either.
Overall, we had a great stay. There were guests from all over Europe and not loads of English people during our visit, which didn’t bother us at all. I couldn’t tell you whether the Jet2 rep ever turned up because, to be honest, I wasn’t interested.
A really nice adults-only hotel, especially if you’re after a relaxed break rather than constant entertainment. We’d happily return.
Thanks for a great stay and for the good bye gift of goodies."
