"I just got back from an incredible stay at the Pantheon View with my boyfriend, and honestly, we had such an amazing time that I can't stop thinking about it!
We checked in late in the evening, and the welcome we received was so warm and friendly that it instantly made us feel at home. The staff took the time to show us to our room and explained everything about the hotel, which was really helpful and made us feel comfortable right away.
The room was on the smaller side, but it was just right for us since we only needed it for sleeping and getting ready for our adventures. It had all the essentials we could possibly need: a fridge for our water, a kettle for our morning tea, a lovely little balcony to enjoy the fresh air, and the beds were super comfy, making it easy to get a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring. The shower was fantastic—always had hot water and was really powerful, which was perfect for refreshing ourselves after a day in the sun.
The cleaner would come by every two days, bringing us fresh towels and adding a little flair to the place.
On our first morning, we opened the curtains, and the view was absolutely stunning. It was such a beautiful sight to wake up to, and it really set the tone for the rest of our holiday.
We rented a car from the hotel, which I highly recommend if you want to explore the island. We got to see so much of the island! I was a bit anxious about driving in a foreign country at first, but trust me, it’s way easier than driving in the UK! The roads were pretty straightforward, and the scenery was just breathtaking.
While we were at the beach, someone dinked our car, and we were really anxious about informing the hotel. But they were super relaxed about it and reassured us that these things happen and that we shouldn’t worry.
The food at the hotel was really good, and we enjoyed every meal we had there. The pool looked inviting, and there were always loungers available. Since we had the car, we mostly went to the beach or explored the area, which was a lot of fun.
We only had breakfast at the hotel once, but it was great—everything you need like toast, cereal, yogurt, and you could pay extra for a hot breakfast if you wanted something more filling.
It’s a 2-star hotel, but honestly, it felt much nicer than that. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was really welcoming.
The hotel is situated on a hill, so if you have mobility issues, it might not be the best fit for you. We did see some people on crutches making their way up and down, and we didn’t find it too bad, but it really depends on your personal abilities and comfort level with walking uphill and downhill.
I can’t recommend this place enough, and we’re already looking into going back! It was such a wonderful experience, and I can't wait to relive it all over again."
