Le Clocher de Rodez

"Very mediocre hotel, major renovations needed, nonexistent service, complete breakfast but low-quality products. Hotel and service not in line with its 3 stars and the prices charged. Avoid at all costs."

"Cons. Tired, dirty rooms. Crack in wall. Air Con not working. Noise from the bus station. Kettle in room but no cups of anything to make a drink with. Breakfast very limited. No towel change."

"⭐ AVOID – Shocking experience and feeling of racial discrimination I strongly advise against this hotel. My experience was extremely bad and, above all, humiliating. I asked to extend my stay by one additional night. The hotel accepted and confirmed my extension, guaranteeing me that I could stay in my room. However, the next day at 11 a.m., someone came knocking on my door to ask me to leave the room, explaining that they had made a mistake regarding room assignments. This error clearly stems from their organization, but I am the one who suffered the consequences. The worst part was the attitude of the manager, who was very aggressive, disrespectful, and contemptuous toward me. I also want to highlight a very serious point: I felt like I was a victim of racist treatment and discrimination related to my origins. The way I was treated deeply shocked me, and I felt clearly belittled and discriminated against. For me, this type of behavior is totally unacceptable in a hotel establishment. And despite this situation caused by their own error, they refuse to refund me in full. I find this scandalous: they confirm my stay, then change their decision at the last minute, ask me to leave the room, and then refuse to take financial responsibility for their error. I advise against this hotel for anyone, and particularly for those who do not want to endure this type of discriminatory and disrespectful treatment. I will never set foot there again."
